We decided to get married at Turnagain BnB once we saw the pics online of the Scissor suite view. Arlene and Roger were very friendly, helpful, and flexible with our plan! It was the most amazing experience to get married there. Super small ceremony but relaxing and beautiful! Arlene made breakfast and we all sat and ate together and it... More

We were two mature couples who spent one night at Turnagain as we were traveling from Denali to Seward. It was a wonderful place to stay with a most scenic view. Arlene fixed a great breakfast. She and Roger joined us as we ate her homemade bread and jams. It was an enjoyable experience. We decided to stay outside of... More

The views from the house are absolutely stunning ,the hosts are most genial and have the most interesting adventures to relate and the breakfast was excellent. The property is unfortunately let somewhat down by the access road (which looks more like it leads to a quarry than a nice home) and we also did feel a little disappointed with our... More

Stayed for a night on way from anchorage to seward. The location is beautiful, up on the hill above the highway, with a beautiful view of Turnagain Arm. Room was great -- spacious, spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was a wonderful experience. Arlene welcomed us and another family staying there into her kitchen as if we were all family, chatting as... More

We stayed in the Rock room. Truly a room with a view, beautiful furnishings, comfy bed, and ever-so clean. When we asked for a local hike, our hostess recommended a path, which started behind the house, meandered through blueberry thickets and brought us by several unobstructed views over Turnagain Arm. On the way back to the Inn, we managed to... More

I did a lot of searching on TripAdvisor before booking this bed and breakfast and it was even nicer than I expected. The place is beautiful and their are gorgeous views out the windows. The owners are wonderful people and Arlene, with the help of her daughter, cooked up a great full breakfast for us. We were even shown the... More

Favorite stay of our 10-day Alaskan adventure. The views from this B&B are simply gorgeous. We ended up having a late day in Girdwood, so didn't check in until 9:30ish at night. The owner was very flexible and had no issues with it (and had also just made fresh bread so the whole place smelled wonderful). We stayed in the... More

The B&B is gorgeous, the owners are very nice. They take the time to get to know you and really enjoy your company. The best place we stayed our whole trip. We liked it here so much, we asked to stay two extra days.

We stayed 2 nights in July in the Rock room on the ground floor. The cabin is beautiful and the breakfasts delicious. Roger and Arlene are wonderful hosts with great stories about their years in Alaska. He has been there for 49 years!
