We stayed at Woodall for two nights and used it as both our starting point for game drives in Addo NP and a place to relax during our South Africa trip. The rooms are very large and beautiful. Game drives organized by Woodall are great. Definitely worth mentioning is the dinner - it is simply great, both in quality and...

we spent two exciting days in the hotel and the areas. the safaris are amazing and the amount of wildlife to observe just stunning. the hotelrooms are big, clean and nice. nothing to complain about. however, coming from a few other 5 star hotels in the region, the woodall underperforms on a few things. the breakfast buffet is sufficient and...

The attention to detail, quality of accommodation and genuine desire to help made Woodall the perfect start to our 2 weeks in South Africa. The game drive was brilliant too (thanks Ruan) including a lovely snack lunch. We will return to Addo and could not contemplate staying anywhere else.

The art in the bedroom and the whole hotel was lovely and indeed include some of the most beautiful things we saw in South Africa. We...

We stayed there two nights on a 2,5 week roudtrip through ZA. We got there a little earlier but were received very friendly and offered a drink on the deck and perfectly checked-in, our room was already available. The place was just great, maybe slightly aged but nothing serious. Service and staff was great, we had massages there and dinner...

We spent two nights at Woodalls in September 2016. We were met on arrival, given a drink and left in the bar. Unfortunately, I had to go to reception eventually to ring someone to take us to our rooms as we were left there for over 30 minutes and we just needed to get to our rooms and freshen up...

It was fantastic. We spent three nights at Woodall House with our two children (14 and 10) and we enjoy a lot all the venue. Excellent food, marvelous staff and just five minutes from Addo. The library and the terrace are fabulous places to sit read and relax. The quietness of the venue it is also impressive.

The good: Lots of personal touches like washing our dirt covered car, turn down service with a special treat for kids. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The setting is beautiful. The home made lemonade is delicious. Excellent in room coffee and well stocked mini bar. Awesome rooms! Great breakfast with all the preserves known to man. I would have...
