This has to be the best surprise I have had in a long time. After a few hours up a long windy mountain road (there was tarmac on most of it!!!) we were greeted by a little bit of paradise. A lovely man who spoke fantastic English brought us Moroccan tea whilst we completed our check in paper work. The... More

Stopped here as part of an organised day trip through the Anti Atlas from Agadir. We ate on the beautiful terrace and the food was simple but tasty, egg mayonnaise and potato salad, chicken with lemon and honey, melon on crisp lovely pastry to finish. Really was memorable and after hairy 4 wheel drive through the mountains it was literally... More

I agree with a previous reviewer that this place seems like an old fashioned health resort. The view from the terrace and also the rooms, was beautiful. The rooms were dated but very warm and the shower was difficult to use with unreliable hot water. However, the meals were delicious and served in the dining room with an open fire... More

Fantastic views from most of the bedrooms and when new this must have been something special. However the furniture is now collectors items, the pool and tennis courts have seen better days and the bathrooms have fixtures and fittings from 40 years ago - 15 minutes to wait for the water to get warm. Most rooms have balconies but it... More

As part of a bicycle tour, we arrived at the hotel late in the afternoon. It was a most welcome site after a long hard ride. While somewhat worn and in need of some upgrades, overall, the hotel is very pretty with great grounds and vistas. The rooms were ok and the showers had hot water. Dinner was good with... More

The Davinator and I decided to take a day trip from Tamraght on the Atlantic Coast up to Imouzzer and then back down to the coast via Paradise Valley. See separate reviews on attractions. We rolled up at the Hotel des Cascades about 4 pm, hungry and road weary; having been harassed by the 'parking attendants' at the Cascades. The... More

Nice setting in a lovely flower garden, friendly staff, decent bedroom with balcony overlooking the garden and a very nice dinner " poulet au miel " with a good bottle of wine too.Don't expect to see water on the cascades in this time of the year.

I can imagine this hotel looked realy nice 10 years ago. Now, however, it needs serious maintenance to give it back it's glory. Rooms were ok, but very old and dirty bed covers, extremely old bathroom and not even a good view. The hotel was almost empty so they could have given us a better room i suppose. Food was... More

Maybe expecting too much because of the very positive reviews, i felt obliged to counter these w my own experiences. There is a beautifull garden where you dine, the swimmingpool is dirty, the tennis court completely run down and no rackets available. The room fine, decent bed and nice balcony, however damp on first entrance, not clean bathroom with rough... More
