Life is Good is 5 months old, just reopened tidy hostel, run by international couple. Hostel is situated just outside of Moyogalpa, north. Calm place, embraced by good vibes coming from surrounding fabulous nature, only 2 km from La Concepcion, one of the two safe hiking route to the Vulcan's top. We offer clean rooms with bathrooms, restaurant with amazing food cooked with love made from fresh local ingredients, bar full of refreshing Nicaraguan beer, good music and atmosphere. Reasonable prices, full service and healthy environment makes your stay unforgettable. Staff is multilingual (EN, ES, Hebrew, GE, RU, SK, CZ)

Roman & Barbura are the owners of this family run hostel that is amazing. It is located about a 15 minute walk from the port and the town were all the restaurants are BUT highly recommend to eat at the hostel. The food is great especially the sweet and sour chicken… WOW no words 😮💨🤤. Roman was very helpful throughout our stay, helped us rent a quad for the day that is directly through a company so no way of getting scammed! Really enjoyed our 3 night stay 😊

Roman and Barbara, the owners of this place, are fabulous people. The facilities are great and people are super friendly. They can arrange tours, scooter or any facilities required during the stay. There is also a restaurant and bar for one to use. While the above are all good things, there is also some points to note. The place is about 20 minutes walk from the Mogolapya port. Post sunset, parts of the road get dark. So if you plan to walk i either direction, carry some form of flashlight. There is no communal kitchen, not that it mattered to me, but if you were looking at making things by yourself, this isn't the place. Overall, it's a great place to stay, great vibe and fantastic hosts.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay at life is good hostel. Roman and Barb are very hospitable hosts with a wealth of knowledge of the area. Delicious food is available on site, with fresh ingredients and locally sourced produce. There is also a bar with cocktails and cheap beer. It's a yes from me life is good 👍

We stayed here as family of 5 peeps (incl. 3 teen daughters) for 5 nights. We had a great time! Roman and Barbs are very warm and hospitable people, always willing to help and advize. The rooms are very clean and the Bohemian inspired kitchen is excellent. We actually never had a reason to eat anywhere else....after a whole day running around the Island it was great to enjoy an ice-cold beer or cocktail (for friendly local prices!!) and relax at the bar while the amazing food was being prepared. Even though I am not a typical backpack Hostel traveller, I would recommed this Hostel to everyone!! Best Hostel by far on Ometepe without a doubt. Enjoy!!

Really wonderful hostel. Barbara and Roman are great hard working hosts who help to cook great meals and give good advice. They can organize almost anything for you at decent prices. Makes it easy to travel to Ometepe. Food is good and a nice change. Atmosphere is quiet and cozy.

Roman has truely mastered hospitality. We did every recommendation of his and it was all fantastic. We only stayed two nights which was our only regret. The food is some of the best from our 5 month travels and very reasonably priced.

Roman is the best. Huge thanks to him for all the help. Just arrive and he will help sort you out with everything you need for your stay. He knows the ins and outs of the island and offers great advice. The hostel offers great value for money with awesome rooms. Also the meal we had there was amazing. Highly recommend this hostel.

These guys help us out when we need, they saved our ass when we ran out of gas and they didn´t ask anything back. Well, they did ask us to joind them for drinks and dinner. We had already anothe booking with a lovely family too but the show us arround the place and looked amazing, an also homemade food and great selection of drinks. We had really good time with Barbara and Roman, and i´m shure anyone who visit their place will too!!.

From the minute we entered this hostel we felt at home. The owners are fabulous, very friendly and accommodating. The food is to die for, so fresh and healthy. The hostel was spotless clean and there are such nice chilled vibes there. I loved their cocktails and presentation at dinner, it really is a lovely restarting. I couldn’t reccomend this hostel more
