whilst visiting relatives in Australia we spent a week-end camping in this lovely peaceful park, we had two tents with plenty of space, also a power point for fridge etc. The amenities were kept very clean, as was the whole of the park. It was Bonfire Week-end but unfortunately the bonfire was cancelled due to bush fires in the area,... More

We spent a night at Riverwood Downs Mountain Valley Resort as we were attending a wedding that was being held there. A wedding that cost the couple & their families around $25K to hold there. On arrival we were required to leave a $150.00 deposit at reception to cover any damage that may occur overnight ! This was after we... More

We stayed in a King room, which was two short single beds jammed together in a small, pokey room. Some staff were lovely but others were very rude and unhelpful. It felt like our presence and requests were a bother to them. Completely oversold as 4 star - more like 2 star. An old TV that was older than one... More

Great technology free weekend with fabulous staff on a beautiful property. We stayed with a large group of friends, both adults, children and a dog in the bunkhouse. I can therefore only comment on the bunkhouse accommodation. This was basic but clean (I mean basic) but we paid 60 per night so it was what we anticipated. We enjoyed bushwalks,... More

Perfect for a get away with your family and dog. Only downside was the noisy inconsiderate losers in the cabins behind us that had no respect for anyone except themselves, but that won't stop us from returning. The staff are fantastic, the area is peaceful.

Such a beautiful place for families! The staff were very welcoming, the restaurant food was absolutely delicious! The sites are scattered all over so plenty of room. The river is so peaceful to walk along, and great for the kids to play. The horses are beautiful. Bit of cow poop around on he way in and out, and there is... More

What a fantastic place to take pooches for a wee break. Many places that advertise as being 'pet friendly' are often merely pet tolerant. However, this place is really pet friendly. For a start the dogs can go leash free and there are acres of land for them to have a good run. Dogs can go in certain bar areas... More

We only stayed for two days and it was beautiful. All the staff were lovely and the cabin was very clean and tidy. I do like that it is pet friendly however, the dogs barking in the middle of the night weren't what I wanted when I planned a nice quiet weekend away. But all in all it was fantastic... More

I booked 2 nights here at the end of June, being quiet season we were pretty much the only 2 staying there (if there were more we didn't see them) in the booking I pre ordered dinner and breakfast for the 2 nights and 2 mornings the food was sensational so so tasty, we were the only two in the... What a beautiful place! Called in to have a look around for future camping and have some lunch, the staff were so nice & the area is so beautiful and clean, and right near a creek. The kids loved it! Will definitely be planning a camping trip in the future.
