We communicated via email with David. He was fast in his response and friendly and helpful. We reached late at around 4pm and David picked us at 5 plus. From there we were super relaxed and happy as David entertained us with his very knowledgeable information about Chiayi and Alishan and all the things we saw. He was an excellent...

Stayed two nights at this lovely 民宿 (minsu) in a family room with two double beds. Mountain view which overlook a tea plantation. Lucky to witness the Sea of Clouds with beautiful sunset which transport us to another realm. Breakfast is pasta with croissants paired with their fragrant Oolong tea. A great place to recharge and rejuvenate our weary souls...

My second trip back to this place, first time was with extended family. Even after 7 years, the place is still very well-maintained, and the host (this time David instead of his dad, Charlies) as friendly as ever. We love the view, and had the good fortune of seeing the 'sea of clouds' (云海) on all 3 days that we...

We enjoyed the hospitality of David n his wife, n the beautiful scenery in Alishan. all my friends who had also stayed there had also given endless compliments. We had a spectacular experience during our 3d2n (26 - 28 Mar 2017) under the care of our host/guide, David during our trip around Alishan/Yushan. David is a very thoughtful and understanding guy who provided us with umbrella when it was raining and does not make a fuss when we dirtied his car with our muddy shoes. David is also...

My wife and I stayed at Small Swiss Homestay for two-days and one night in January 2017 and we cannot speak more highly of our experience. Uncle Charlies was our driver and guide for the two days and he truly went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and that we were well taken care of. What...

Visited Alishan just days ago. David from homstay fetched us from Chaiyi HSR. He arrived way earlier before the agreed timing. Very courteous, and helpful! He has great knowledge. The route to his homestay is narrow and dangerous. With his good driving skill, we felt very safe as he ensure our safety as top piority. The house is huge and...

This is an overdue review. Stayed here 4 years ago, travelling with a friend. Our guide was David. The homestay was located mid way of Alishan, it was sitting on a plot of tea plantation. The package includes homestay, meals and sight seeing. The package is well planned, not too tiring, but get to see a lot of attractions. Food...

We signed a 3D2N tour with the homestay and was very happy throughout. David was our driver and guide, his wife made breakfast and made up our room for us. Their house and room is clean and what greets us everyday when we woke up is the awesome, breathtaking view from our window. David is thoughtful and helpful, he shared...

First of all, I would like to extend my deepest thanks to David, the owner of the minsu. I have had a very very bad case of diarrhoea [food frm sg :'(...] when I arrive in taiwan. Throughout the 2D2N tour, i didn't have to worry abt the clinic or food as both David n his wife were very considerate....
