I booked this B&B via a hotel site as it stated it was in Bideford, it is actually 15miles away from Bideford towards Bude! We needed to stay in Bideford as our vehicle needed to go in for urgent work early the next morning. After we had booked and paid we put the postcode into our sat nav and discovered...

Stayed here for one night whilst touring west country. Lovely old Inn with dining attached. Clean, comfortable bed and separate ensuite with toiletries. Friendly staff and great food - homemade Steak & Stilton pie decicious followed by Sticky Toffee Pudding with clotted cream! Full English breakfast included in price of £65 per night.

Popped here for an evening meal, chose the burgers, fantastic tasty steak burgers, huge and very filling. Good friendly conversation with the owners son who was looking after the place whilst they were away. A very good chef too! Would eat there again.

Really hospitable couple. Room was clean. Bit small but had everything we needed. Bar was by far the busiest in the village.. Very friendly locals leading to a relaxed atmosphere all round. Inn was easy to find and has off street parking. I wouldn't claim it is perfect, but for the price you pay, and the proximity to some outstanding...

We stayed here for one night and were greeted by the friendly owner. The room was pleasant and all the basics were covered. For the price of our stay which included breakfast, it was very reasonable. The only things that we would say that could improve the hotel overall would be its cleanliness, decor in the communal areas and stronger...
