We were seven days into our tour of Australia and had left the Great Ocean Road and are making our way to the Grampians for two nights stay at Meringa Springs, a small luxury lodge overlooking the Vartook Valley and the Grampians National Park. We had earlier left Port Fairy and drove on through the mountains aiming for Halls Gap.... More

We spent two nights here - it seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. We were greeted by Paul & Gail and shown to our room. Very well proportioned & comfortable room and despite being so remote the whole lodge was impressively fitted out to a very high standard. They do provide dinner (as there is no other place... More

We have just spent two nights here and we had an amazing time. The location is perfect, the food is delicious and the service is superb. With such a small number of guests, the very friendly and interesting hosts can really take time to get to know you and make you feel so welcome. We were lucky to have beautiful... More

Stayed here in late October and loved it. Fabulous food, a wonderful setting and kangaroos hopping about when dusk comes. The owners were lovely and they look after you with a great mix of attention to detail and informality. We really did feel we were staying somewhere magical.

Stunning views from our private balcony and sunny deck over the plains where kangaroos roam to the mountains. Huge bedroom and separate lounge . Dinner and breakfast, although not included, are well worth paying for. Gail, Paul and Bea are charming and entertaining hosts. A wonderful peaceful retreat from which to explore the Grampians.

My wife and I have just spent a restful 3 days at Meringa Springs and appreciated the hospitality of our hosts. Bea is a fabulous cook and her homestyle cooking is just what we needed, and her wealth of knowledge of the area also makes for a more informed stay in the Grampians.

We were delighted that our travel agent booked two nights for us in this lovely accommodation when we had completed our Ocean Road Drive and were bound for Adelaide. It is family run by two generations and they were all charming, friendly and gave us excellent advice about visiting in the area. Our room in the main house was spacious... More

From the minute you arrive you are welcomed like old friends. The accommodation is luxurious and spacious with fantastic views. Bea, the daughter of the owners also does all the cooking and the meals were fantastic. It is a great place to explore the northern Grampians.

We spent, unfortunately, only 1 night there during our round trip thru west coast Australia. The place is just gorgeous. The villas are amazing and you can see the passion, precision and love they put into these homes. You really feel like home there. The view from the patio is amazing, especially at nights looking at a clear sky full... More

We were very fortunate that on an extended holiday in Australia and New Zealand we decided to visit the Grampians and stayed at this wonderful accommodation.
