Spent a night here while thru-hiking SNP on the AT. It was nice that they had tent only sites that were a bit secluded (A10). Didn't have to put up my tiny tent next to some monster RV and be kept awake by bright lights...More

It is beautiful on the mountain but the lack of up keep s showing. The grass is high and ticks are thick.The ticks are horrible, I rarely get tick bites, even after spraying and wearing long pant and tall socks I received 5 tick bites...More

Sorry we did not go in April, we went in September. Weather has been very unpredictable, cold and dreary one day, hot another day. At night it can be quite cool.

In our spot, A40 it was right next to the car. Other spots were a bit farther. I passed on that was quite a ways down the hill.
