My wife & I visited this site 7 years ago when it was run by KOA. We loved it back then & were waiting to the day we could come back. We finally returned and were severely disappointed. The water slide was overrun with vegetation. The fire pit for our site was 3/4 filled with ash, the hot tub was...

We booked for two nights with an 8 person party. We had two cabins, one of which the A/C did not work, both had cobwebs and smelled bad. The amenities that are listed on the website are not what is available. The bathrooms and showers were dirty and overrun by spiders. We stayed one night of our stay and left...

The place is quiet and peaceful with access to wonderful areas not a bad value at all. Rv connection and park cleanliness were very adequate. Our party had a wonderful time. Do not set your expectations too high and you will enjoy the experience!

Nothing wrong with broken English! This is AMERICA where English isn't always the first language of everyone! The place isn't a five star campground, but it offers a great place to camp without being on top of your neighbors. The facility offers you quick access to Shenandoah National Park. The showers had hot water!

We stayed one night enroute home. Thinking of the beauty of the land we figured a KOA address was a safe bet. Not so. Broken english owners, marginal camp store with leftover dominos box of pizza, loud obnoxious campers in cabins, worn out pool with little maintenance, hot tub covered with weathered plywood, playground falling apart, overgrown landscapes, working showers...

We stayed at this facility on Memorial Day weekend, and selected it without seeing any marketing materials (web site, brochure, etc.). The private/family land where we had planned on spending the weekend did not work out, and of course, Shenandoah National Park had no available sites on Memorial Day weekend, but they were nice enough to help us find another....

We only stayed one night the office was closed when we pulled in, but we called the office and they responded immediately. Showers were clean, plenty of hot water, the sites were level. The owner was very friendly.

Do not waste your money, the map shows a waterslide....which is now (non operationable) a flower pot for overgrown honeysuckle. The tiny golf course has not been updated or repaired since the 70's. Not only is the pond dried up but the walk to get to it is very steep and dangerous. The kids were swimming in the pool (which...

Our group rented 8 cabins (7 one room & 1 two room). All but the one 2 room cabin had to be bombed & or cleaned top to bottom for rodents and insects. The 7 cabins were filled with mouse droppings, roaches, mice, spiders and silverfish. We were planning on having a pleasant vacation with family and friends but the...

We booked a last second cabin reservation at the RV Park, and honestly chose them because no one else in the area had cabins opened that were pet friendly. We became concerned before we left because the reviews were not great - but we went anyways. I can only speak for the cabin that we stayed in, but it was...
