We stayed for three nights, and the Lodge was kind of what we expected. The central location was the main reason for staying, with the hotel being pretty average after that - nothing particularly bad, but nothing particularly good. Appreciate that they needed to rebuild...More
This Lodge looks cute from the outside and is located just next to Grant Village, that offers a small "market" (drinks and some food) the post office, the gift shop and the future restaurant (until next year there is only a food truck that caterers...More

Hi veve2908, we appreciate your feedback and apologize for the oversight of our front-desk staff and for the housekeeping issues. We are always happy to attend to issues during our guests' stay and hope you let us know about the need for a towel replacement...More
No advance warning that only food available in the park is from a food truck while construction underway . Lodging average at best. Cleanliness average. Staff seems ready for season to be over. Very poor showing for NPS and we love touring our National Parks....More

Hi welove2hike2016, we appreciate your review pointing out where we can improve. Our new LEED certified restaurant is scheduled to open spring 2017--we apologize for the temporary food service while it is being built and encourage guests to review food options on our website.

Actually, our review indicated that cleanliness was not a problem. The hotel is dated and service is spotty although friendly. Please be aware that we stayed in the lodge itself and not one of the cabins.
