Stayed 2 nights, we booked late so didn't get a great spot but nonetheless it was fine. Looks like a great place for kids to ride bikes. Firewood available for sale. Theater show available in the evening. Great place to stay as you are 10 min from Paradise Valley.

This campground is beautiful, and because of the trees, each site feels much more private than it is. Even though it was at full capacity during our stay, it still felt like we were 'getting away'. Good location too, as there are several trail heads nearby. Hoping to be back very soon!

There aren't a whole lot of bells and whistles at this campground, it's pretty basic for both boondocking (trailers/RVs) and tent camping -- parking, tent space, picnic table, fire ring -- but the backdrop of evergreen trees is insanely beautiful. There are ranger-led interpretive programs each night in the summer, firewood for sale inside the campground, and trails that lead...

We stayed in Loop B the first night as all the tent only sites were fully booked on the Friday night (I attempted to pre-book in June for a late August stay so get in there early!) Camp spot was fine but it was an RV site so there were quite a lot of people about & noisy generators. No...

My family camped here for 3 nights in August. It rained and drizzled for 3 days and nights with temperature falling below 50's at night. But that probably killed all the bugs and we had good time exploring the Park. Just a walk to a bathroom presented beautiful view of mountains shrouded in fog and mist. Anyway, to the basics......

Such beauty here! Will continue to count it as my "very favorite" campground. The view across the street from the campground is spectacular. You do need to make reservations to camp well in advance! It is a very popular campground. Trailer camping can be limited. No more than a 35' trailer allowed. Trailer sites are few if you have more...

Great Campground close to Paradise and across from the Wonderland trail to Carter Falls. Decent bathrooms (bring your own soap and towels) and nice fire pits and tent pads. They do a good job of keeping up the campground.

We stayed at Cougar Rock for 3 nights. We had site C11 which was close to the bathroom but not to close it was annoying or smelly and we had a good distance between us and the next campers. Overall the campground was quiet and clean. There is NO camp store here: you can buy wood at the front check-in...

Our family stayed at Cougar Rock for two nights in mid-July during our visit to Mount Rainier. We were met with the good humor of the ranger who checked us in and plentiful information about the Ranger programs offered within the campsite that evening. This is one of the loveliest campgrounds I have ever experienced. The trees and boulders reminded...

Location of this campground is wonderful - on the western side of the park road. The camp sites are large and spread out. The only drawback to the camp is the lack of restrooms. Our loop did not even have a restroom - we had to walk a bit to the next loop. You can view the mountain from loop...
