The total package of outstanding scenery, accommodations and guides, and worth the price. A great place for anyone to dip their toe in the wilderness while staying at a very comfortable lodge. They offer a variety of daily full and half-day excursions, and we took advantage of a half-day kayak trip across the bay, a hike on the ridge overlooking...

Many folks have commented on all the positive aspects of this experience. I would have to second them in this regard. As a 30 year resident of Alaska who has travelled to most of the visitor destinations and had many fantastic experiences I would put this easily up in the top 5 in the state. The attention to detail, outstanding...

This review won't be a thousand words but it will be an enthusiastic endorsement of the Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge, a lengthy boat ride away from Seward Alaska and worlds away from the noise and hustle of our everyday lives. The visual beauty of the sea and mountains from the small boat was jaw dropping, and the crew stopped often...

We spent two nights here as part of a week-long Alaska Wildlands Adventures tour (AWA runs the lodge, which was built on a native corporation in-holding). Wow! Embarking from Seward on the AWA Wildlander catamaran, we spent four hours on the water on a perfect day -- flat water and, except for spotty fog, sunshine all the way. Whales, sea...

The boat ride to and from the lodge was spectacular. The captains kept a sharp eye out for wildlife and gave us plenty of time for photos when marine life was spotted. On our two trips (in and out) we saw numerous humpbacks, sea lions, puffins, tons of sea otters and Dall porpoises! The amazing landscapes were no less enchanting....

This place won't be for everyone, which we are thankful for. But, it was for my wife and I. It offered as many challenges as we wanted for who we are. The staff is great and extremely helpful. The guides are as knowledgeable and prepared as any I've ever been around with personalities to match. They take it to a...

If you want to get away from it all and be in a beautiful setting, stay here. Probably not for everyone because of its remoteness, but if you are up for an adventure, this is a great place. The staff was incredible as were the activities and surroundings. Food was excellent and the cabins very comfortable. Wish I could have...

Just one more vote to say this place is absolutely amazing. Very much eco-conscious, but beautifully situated, all the details worked out so very comfortable, views to die for, out of this world food, and a staff that is unfailingly gracious and knowledgeable. And lots of gear available of excellent quality to borrow to stay warm and dry. (We saw...
