Nice campground, great views over the valley below (the city lights have their own charm, even if they drown out the starlight a bit), spacious sites surrounded by Joshua trees. It's about 20 minutes drive to the park entrance and access to the main attractions....More

first time there, the campsite is clean quiet and very close to the park, they need to do a little maintenance on the roadways if they want more rv travlers lots of potholes and big dips are not good when moving a trailer.

Excellent campground, if a bit rustic. Dirt roads, simple bathrooms (they do have flush toilets and potable water!), no hookups. There weren't too many people the first week of February,, which I found surprising. Lots of trails to walk and gorgeous scenery to check out....More

Campground was nice. Spots were decent sizes. They all had a nice concrete table and fire pit. Bathrooms could have been cleaned and stocked better with buttwipe. Main issue is the late night millennial hipsters that think they can party until 2am. Music blasting and...More

Yes, each site has its own fire pit. They do have grates, although they aren't the cleanest.
