I was pleasantly surprised by the room in the lodge. Nice clean rooms that look out over the lake. Each room has a porch that sits out over the water. A really lovely setting to return to after a long day hiking. Not the striped down room's that you sometimes find at National Park's.

Just got back from a 3-night stay at Rock Harbor Lodge and don't think I can add anything to what other recent TA reviewers have said. Great waterside location, nice cabin - like rooms, with comfortable beds and a great balcony. Pricey but definitely worth it in this remote, pristine location. Restaurant was a pleasant surprise for NPS - simple...

A two-night stay on the island, with round-trip ferry rides for 2 adults adds up fast. But, considering its the only place on a remote park island, it is really amazing. The cabins have huge lake-facing windows and a great layout to relax and cook basic meals (stovetop only + all dishes - which certainly can save money over the...

Based on some of the other reviews, we were not expecting much from this Lodge. OK, the rooms are more like standard motel rooms, except for the spectacular view. We had a second story room with views looking directly out on the water. The room was clean and well stocked. It was bright and airy. OK, it is about twice...

I had a tremendous time exploring this remote island. The lodge was just fine for what I expected that being a place to make your stay comfortable while at the end of the earth. If you go the charter fishing is well worth it Captain Pete and Captain Marina were really cool and turn my 11-year-old son and my 15-year-old...

My quiet rustic room in Rock Harbor Lodge overlooked Lake Superior. Isle Royale National Park is one of the least visited national parks. The room had a coffee maker but no TV which was okay for me. I spent 5 days in Rock Harbor Lodge and enjoyed it immensely. I spent my days hiking around the park.

We stayed in the Housekeeping Cabins. Our Cabin had a great view of Tobin Harbor. The Cabin is old and out of date, but charming. Would definitely stay here again. Very close to the Tobin dock. Three beds with room for our family of four.

We recently spent three nights at the Rock Harbor Lodge on Isle Royale. We arrived on the first day of the 2016 season, not really knowing what to expect. From when we stepped off the ferry from Copper Harbor, everything went better than we could have ever hoped for. The room was simple, clean and fresh. Two comfortable queen sized...

Just returned from four nights in a cabin in Isle Royale NP. Cabin is roomy, clean and well equipped. Furnishings are not exactly comfortable but adequate and to be expected in a park setting. From our cabin (201) we could walk out to several beautiful trails for day hikes or down the hill to the water for canoeing. Night sky...

Loved the Rock Harbor Lodge. Our room had a super view of Lake Superior. The room was large with 2 queen beds. Kept the windows open at night to listen Lake Superior water lapping up on the beach. How very peaceful. Plenty of hot water. The 3 night package we bought was perfect. Included ferry ride over, all meals(anything on...
