This was my second trip to the Grand Canyon, and I needed a place to stay near the rim so that I could easily experience sunrise and sunset on the rim as well as have plenty of time for a lengthy day-hike. I was easily able to accomplish all three while staying at Yavapai West. Our room was only a...

We are a family of five and most of our bookings have been one room for us and another for our kids. This time I decided to book the Yavapai East Double Queen family room as it looked perfect. For a moderate price the accommodation was excellent, breakfast was included for all of us - more than we could finish...

Our family of 5 stayed here Nov 2016. We loved it! The room was simple, no frills, but that was fine with us, as we only used it to sleep. The lodge was wonderful, food was better than expected, and my kids loved walking from our room to the lodge, especially at night after the park was closed, and feeling...

Booked a room at the east portion of the Yavapai Lodge for one night while visiting the Grand Canyon. Wishing we had stayed a couple of nights once we got there but of course it's booked up way ahead. We were told it was rustic but what a wonderful room. Very comfortable with everything we needed including toiletries. Only thing...

We stayed in Yavapai East, building 6, in a double queen room on the 1st floor. The room seemed renovated and was very clean. The heat worked well, which was a good thing because there was snowfall this April night, it was probably 30 degrees or colder outside. There is no wi-fi, which we already knew, but there was also...

We arrived in the National Park and it was snowing! It was already 530pm when I got to the reception area and the queue was long however it moved fast. Luckily I booked 4 weeks ahead so we were guaranteed a room. The room was a standard size hotel room by Australian standards and when we walked in it was...

The rooms are very basic and needs some TLC. This hotel is quite expensive for what you get. Having said that, I don't think you can find a better location when visiting the canyon. Busses run on a regular schedule so it is easy to get around in the park.

This place was great to stay at. Very central location, nicely updated room with an amazing king sized bed (7328 located in the eastern side) close to the village shuttle and plenty on site parking outside of the Accomodation. We had a car so this was a big must have. I can see that if you didn't have a car...

For the price paid, you can definitely get much updated properties with all the amenities you can find at a name brand hotelier. Only reason they charge so much is because of the Grand Canyon nearby. That's the only gripe I have with this place. In this digital age, you'd expect wifi in your room, but it's only available at...

I have stayed at the Yavapai Lodge many times, most recently for 2 days this past weekend. The rooms are clean, comfortable and convenient to get to. It also places you close to the Rim so you get lots of viewing time at the Rim. I prefer Yavapai East to Yavapai West. I like the rustic feel of Yavapai East...
