We were very pleased with our room. Very comfortable and clean. Were half way expecting an old cabin type feel. Not at all. Modern conveniences and updates. Great Nachos and Beer at the lodge tavern as well! Not the greatest place for full meals. El Tavor was preferable for dining, although pricey

We stayed in the lodge for one night and we have no major complaints. The room was clean, quiet, there was a refrigerator, and easy parking. The location is amazing---right in Grand Canyon National Park. It is also right next to the market and post office. Of note, the the market is great and had a good selection of food...

Good accommodations close to the rim of Grand Canyon. Be forewarned. Don't go to the attached restaurant at the lodge. Very stale bread(at least 2 or 3 days old) rubbery eggs(who knows how old!). You would be advised to go to one of the restaurants in the village.

The lodge is in a fantastic location -- super close to the canyon and trails. The room was nice, and I loved how environmentally friendly they are (there is even a water conservation challenge in the shower with a 5 minute timer). Every member of the staff was very friendly, and the restaurant on the property had a nice selection...

My wife and I stayed here when visiting the Grand Canyon. This hotel provides all of the basics. The location is great, the accommodations are clean and the price was reasonable. I would recommend staying here. My only complaint was that the hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. This was only in the hallway however. Our nonsmoking room was very clean.

As other reviewers have noted, you need to set realistic expectations for this "lodge". We were there with kids to enjoy the park, not for luxe lodgings. Pros: Great location Clean Rooms Elk Outside the Rooms-fantastic for the kids. Very nice housekeeping staff. Cons: High price for a very average, dated lodge. It's basically an older motor inn. All lodging...

This was a comfortable stay with modern rooms and our room faced the trees, not the road. We opened the drapes our first morning and saw five elk outside. One of them came close to the building and we got great photos. The beds were comfy, the room was clean, and we appreciated the small refrigerator. In-room coffee was good...

We really enjoyed staying here. Not far from the village. There is a Market near the lodges. Our room had been recently remodeled with a comfortable bed and couch. Room was clean. We only stayed one night, and it was great! We were looking for an affordable option since all we were doing was sleeping, and this was great! We...

We only stayed one night here. We enjoyed staying here. The bathroom was very small, especially for 4 people in the room, but for a one night stay it was fine!! The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

This is a lodge near the visitors center on the South Rim. Close to the Rim Trail, bus shuttle . Very affordable and comfy beds. Lodge Tavern and Restaurant with good food close by. Highly recommend it!
