This review ONLY relates to the "motel", not the Lodge, which appeared to be quite charming. The location cannot be faulted, its lovely. However the "motel" accommodation was rubbish. The doors did'nt fit the frame, so mosquito's were in evidence despite a liberal spraying of anti-mosquito chemicals. The shower was miniscule, size zero might have had some space but as...

If you like national park lodges and know what to expect you will appreciate lake mcdonald lodge. Not luxury but priceless setting. If seeking luxury should maybe stay elsewhere but if seeking historical experience and character it doesn't get better. Front desk and restaurant folks friendly and helpful.

The resort is well located and has enough options for dining. A store and gift shop are also handy for a few items. Good meals at the main lodge restaurant. Great pizza at the pizza place & grill. Servers were all pleasant with a special shout out to Keri & Matt the bartenders in the lodge. They were efficient and...

This is a historic hotel with all that comes with old and historic. Our room had a private bath, although very, very tiny. We marveled at where they found such teensy sinks, showers, and toilets. The room was hot with no AC during what we later found out to be a heat wave in the mountains of Montana. We left...

We stayed at another property but stopped by LML for dinner after hiking at Two Cedars. We had a wonderful dinner. The room itself was fun, with an old lodge vibe mixed with a pretty eclectic music selection playing. Unlike a previous poster, our food was very good, as was the service. I had a very good martini as well....

Cozier atmosphere at Lake McDonald Lodge than other Glacier Hotel properties. The lobby is considerably smaller, has taxidermy and a large fireplace. It tends to be a bit quieter in the rooms than the other properties, tho surely if one had a noisy neighbor you would know it intimately. The main weakness is that the main hikes and sites are...

Beautiful lodge in an amazing setting. Stayed with our 6 year old after spending a week in the North Fork of Glacier paddling and hiking. The amenities like nightly ranger talks and the shuttle to Logan's Pass made up for the crowds. The cabin was 1950s motor court style, and clean and charming. The lodge is stunning. The dining room...

The lodge is nestled right on the lake and beautifully landscaped. It is much smaller than Many Glacier but cozier. The rooms are small and the bathroom is the smallest I have ever seen but I still enjoyed this place way more than the other two lodges we stayed at. The staff is still hit and miss on whether you...

We picked this location because of its location to have lunch in the park. We were disappointed that they were out of several menu options. I had the bison burger and it was very good. Son had the grilled cheese with fruit and he also enjoyed it.

Incredibly Beautiful Lodge - very rustic - relaxing -absolutely beautiful Lake Front Lodge - we stayed in the stip outside of the main lodge but dinned for a buffet breakfast in the Lodge -- wish we could have had a room in the lodge - but its booked way ahead and I can see why! the dining room was beautiful...
