Stayed here with another couple in a two queen room. The room should have had one bed, not two. It was very cramped for four people with luggage. The building itself is incredible, however, and you should go see it even if you don't stay there.

The front desk staff probably set the poor tone of the, albeit short, stay. Not helpful, not accommodating, to the point that I chose to move on. Little things like helping with communication, rather than just shrugging shoulders and telling someone to move on go a long way. Needless to say our entire group was put off and is not...

What can you say about a typical lodge meal within the National Park. We ate in the bar/lounge area as long wait was apparent for the main dining room. Food was average, fuel for e body while visiting the great outdoors of GNP.

I traveled solo & stayed at Snyder Hall 2 Bunk Beds room with shared bath. The location is very nice & convenient to the Lake which is a few steps away & to the Dining. Cabins are real tiny for any additional luggage/people. Overall, I will give it 4 starts for the location !

Although there is nothing wrong with the facility. Truly a wonderful and historic hotel. We ended up on the third floor and although it was cool and rainy outside, they kept the place awfully hot. We did not turn on any heater and in fact had to open the window in order to sleep. My main complaint was that we...

We were extremely disappointed with our recent stay here and would certainly not stay here again… Where to begin? Probably best to start by noting that the indoor air quality on the day we stayed was a bit worse than Beijing on a summer day during a temperature inversion. The lobby and the common areas were filled with smoke from...

Dinner at the Lodge was one of the highlights of our trip. A very special place. Delicious food the whole family enjoyed. The vegetarian entree was very delicious as well. Efficient and friendly staff (ask for Cynthia!), beautiful view of the lake. Highly recommend! Decent prices. Excellent drink and dessert choices too. :)

We are in our mid sixties, from Florida and drove to Glacier National Park where we stayed in three of the signature hotels. Lake McDonald was by far the best all around!! When we arrived we had a problem with the location of our room. When I went to the front desk Brad and Deb took care of everything immediately!!...

We had a nice cabin with heat in the room and in the bathroom. The bathroom was tiny but it was warm so that was a luxury because it was cold when we were there. We were in walking distance to the water, the lodge, restaurants and the store.

Loved this Rustic Lodge!! We stayed here in mid-August 2016 and the temps were in the mid-80’s. Our room was on the third floor overlooking the lake!! Absolutely Beautiful and Scenic. Check-in was a breeze and staff was extremely helpful and friendly. There is a piano in the lobby for enjoyment, but parents need to keep an eye on their...
