We were two couples who shared the Wonder Wave cabin for two nights in mid Aug. The cabin was cozy and warm and served our purpose of finding a place to crash during our Denali visit. We were mostly outdoors on both days, however the facilities here were very helpful. This place had the cleanliest restrooms I had ever seen...

Many thanks to our staff for all of their hard work to keep everything running smoothly and in good shape! This was a fantastic stay for us in Iceworm 1 & 2 and the High Water cabin. It's definitely low-fi - the showers and bathrooms are all centrally located and shared, but very clean and well maintained. The location is great for a Denali exploration, much much cheaper than other swankier places AND a great stay if you don't mind...

Thank you for your review! We always love to read that our guests have enjoyed their stay with us. We did just purchase a new wi-fi extender to try to expand our wi-fi coverage- I'm not sure if it was installed before or after your stay- but we will look into that. We're always trying to find ways to improve...

The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is obvious that they work very hard to make this a fun, friendly and CLEAN place to stay. We stayed in both sides of Iceworm cabin and it was great. The Octagon was comfortable and well equipped. There was plenty of room for groceries in the common area and the laundry worked...

Great place to stay during exploration of denali. Shuttles to park were very convenient. Good place to meet and interact with other guests. Nice rooms and also option for staying in tent. Staff was extremely helpful and arranged discounts to other activities. One suggestion is to load up on groceries before arriving to denali area because denali prices much higher.

Great place to stay. Clean and cozy with friendly people and a nice common area. Shower and bathroom facilities were outside, but I never had a problem with availability. Would have liked to use the outdoor firepit had it not been rainy, looked like it would have been a fun space. Highly recommend for a nice place to stay near...

This hostel was better than one could expect! Rachel I. was a great help in making my experience easy and comfortable. Thank you Rachel! My boyfriend and I stayed in the wall tents and were quite comfortable. Most hostels you stay in do not offer a full kitchen, bathrooms and showers included in your stay. This one has it all,...

I am a seasoned traveler who has stayed and worked at many hostel's over the years. I came here with my 8 yr old son and we stayed in Highwater cabin...we absolutely loved it! I wanted to introduce him to the "backpacker" lifestyle and this was amazing. We loved hearing the sound of the creek at night and the views...

We had terrific service by genuinely interested staff. Stayed in the Iceworm cabin, both sides. Location of this cabin is terrific, right next to a rushing stream. Beds are comfortable. All the cabins were reserved so I rent a tent next to the river, but was good too. I enjoyed all the time, people from here are very kind. Also all the services were good, nice and clean restrooms. I met nice people at the octagon. I recommend this place. Best wishes.
