It was amazingly convenient to have a comfortable place to stay overnight in a place like this. Not luxury, but clean and well-kept. Even a full-service restaurant. Check into the Inn for a step-up of luxury.

We stayed in the RV park for 2 nights, fabulous setting, warm spring fed pool and play ground for the kids, helpful staff, general store well stocked, lots of eating options, museum and mule rides, fast Internet but no cell-phone coverage (pretty much applies to all the national park).

We stayed at the Ranch Resort, a real oasis in the Valley. Our cabin was just great, fast WiFi, very comfortable bed, a fridge and silent air con. The staff at the office were all smiles and very helpful when we checked in and the cleaning staff were great people. The resort has no shortage of places to eat and... More

We had a great room with a balcony overlooking the palm trees and running water. Make sure you keep checking back on the reservations, We were able to get the room for $132 less than when we first booked.

Clean, well-lit room. Not really a saloon environment, but a very clean bar that is appropriate for families. Although not on the menu, we requested a BLT for my daughter. It was VERY good - they did not skimp at all. The burger and salad my husband and I shared was also very good. The service was great! Tracy (from... More

Stayed again at the Ranch, our fourth visit over the last 15 years. Some changed - 49er cafe has less choice these days, but still serves excellent meatloaf. The pool area is improved, and that's one of the reasons we love Furnace Creek. Even in December! with early morning temperatures around freezing, the spring fed pool at 82F is perfect... More

We stayed in what could be described as an average motel room. Nothing wrong with it but not particularly memorable. Of course the reason to stay here is to be in Death Valley so even if you might think it is too much money for the room you get don't forget the location you are in. Service was good although... We stayed at the Ranch for 3 nights and while not the level of the Inn (we prefer the less stuffy atmosphere!!) the layout was spacious, the room was well appointed (fridge, coffee maker, nice amenities - in eo-friendly dispensers, decent towels) and the service at check-in and in the gift shops was great. On site museum (indoor and outside)... More

This hotel is stunning - driving up to the hotel brought me back for just a moment in time - everything about the hotel is first class. The service was excellent. The room was beautiful with a breathtaking view of the valley at night. Comfortable bed. Excellent location. If I had one suggestion it would be to perhaps expand the... More
