Stayed here 1 night with our teenage sons in between Las Vegas and Yosemite. Views were absolutely stunning en route. Make sure you go up to Dante's view if nothing else. Ranch was fairly basic but clean and comfy. Pretty good for literally the middle of nowhere. Nice little balcony with a couple of rocking chairs. Pool was a welcome...

Once upon a time the Furnace Creek Inn might have had a certain verve and charm but now it might as well be a motel for travelers passing through. It is summer and it is so hot you can cut the air - I am definitely passing through but I wonder if there are actually people who come and spend...

We stopped over here on our way from Vegas to Yosemite. It is basic but we are pleased that we stopped here otherwise the drive would have been too long and we would have missed some good sights in Death Valley. Death Valley is appropriately named. It is ridiculously hot (118F at 6pm when we were there in July). We...

The ranch at furnace creak is a great place to stop for your visit to Death Valley. I think one night in Death Valley is enough to see the best bits of the park. It's a basic hotel but I expected nothing more given it's incredible location and although it could do with a lick of paint in a few...

This place is such a relief when you have been travelling in the middle of nowhere for hours. Rooms we're clean, comfortable and quiet. Service was good. Stayed at the inn which was convenient, good pool. Ranch looked too busy for is with lots of tour buses with many school trips so too many kids for our liking and too...

A great location and very needed rest stop. The rooms are basic but clean and comfy. The pool was fab although not a lot of sun beds so you have to be quick to get one. But again a fresh warm refreshing much needed amenity after a long drive through Death Valley. Restaurants were a little odd though. The main...

We stayed here on our recent Californian road trip. We were very jet lagged and missed out in seeing the pool, which we would have loved to see. The pool is open long hours, it was our fault we missed it. We stayed in a cabin and found it basic. The bed was very small ( the smallest we stayed...

Good sized room with all the standard features. Balcony was a nice touch, but it was too hot outside to use. (it was 119 F when we arrived). Pool was great. Nice and big; and a good temperature. Based on the previous reviews we bought food before we arrived, so did not sample the restaurant. Well worth a stop if...

We drove here from Las Vegas. The resort is charming in the middle of the Death Valley scenery. The rooms are in lodge style accomodation and are basic enough. There is a shop on the site which is well stocked. We ate in the Saloon bar which had a great buzz. The swimming pool is very good. There are also...
