We stayed at the Ranch for 3 nights. It is filthy from head to toe and I am not going to blame housekeeping. I watched housekeeping clean the room and they were doing their best. but The management here is clearly at fault and the workers should not be blamed. When I say dirty, I mean the walls and carpets... More

Furnace Creek Ranch and The Inn at Furnace Creek are 2 different accommodations and should really be listed separately. We stayed in the Furnace Creek Ranch for 2 nights and loved the place. The rooms are not fancy but just a place to freshen up and get your head down at night. The rocking chairs on the porch were great.... More

Beautiful location and grounds, but room was a big disappointment given the cost. Stain on carpet, grungy shower curtain and a general run down feeling. One lonely, thredbare robe hung in the closet. At almost $400 night, we expected more. Breakfast in restaurant was delightful with a fabulous view. Despite disappointment about room, Death Valley is a magical place.

Touring Death Valley is best done in the spring or fall when temps are relatively low (mid to high 80s), the summertime haze is missing in the clear blue sky and the brilliant sun lights up the desert .After a day of enjoying the park, we checked in easily at the Ranch at Furnace Creek. It is really family friendly,... More

We stayed at the Inn November 2016. The room was somewhat dated but very clean. The pool was great, 87 degrees and crystal clear. The location is ideal and it is the nicest place to stay in Death Valley. The restaurant ambiance and setting is very nice. For Breakfast we had oatmeal and an omelette. Both were good. Dinner was... We stayed for 3 nights in this resort on Thanksgiving week. Check in was less than a minute, check out even less - a big plus. Resort is pretty big and has a lot of activities and food options. Resort is not first class but it is expected as it is not Miami. It has cabins and dorm like buildings.Our... More

We stopped over at the Ranch travelling from Yosemite to Las Vegas. The commute from Yosemite was quite a distance so we didn't arrive at Death Valley until early evening which was a blessing in disguise! Temperatures were reaching 50 Celsius when we were driving through the desert. A cool 45 degrees when we arrived.... The ranch is what you'd... More

We stayed at the Ranch for 3 nights, family of 4. The room was a little outdated and the bathroom needs work, not enough space to put toiletries. We had to carry our stuff in and out of the bathroom. Also, limited room for suitcases in the room, but we managed. The beds were a little hard, but fairly comfortable.... More

We’ve visited Death Valley for many years now – we have camped, stayed at Stove Pipe Wells – but mostly we stay at the Ranch. The Ranch is a convenient location, close to restaurants, golfing, fire pits, general store and the Park Visitor Center. Last February we stayed a week at the Ranch and enjoyed the wild flower bloom and... More
