This was my first camping experience and I feel very lucky that I and my girlfriend chose this place as a start for us as the new campers, because it is a spacious, convenient, and safe campground. Most importantly, it is very dark in the...More

We scouted a site ahead and I managed to get a 45' diesel pusher in there and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Backed it right up close to the edge of the draw. We had plenty of room with tons of space between campsites. We barely...More

Located at the north end of Death Valley, this first come first served campground has only about 30 sites and can fill up early depending on time of year. It is close to Scotty's Castle, which is closed right now (2017) for a multi year...More

There is no cell phone reception, but there is a pay phone a few miles away at the unmanned ranger station near Scotty's Castle. The closest gas station is about 25 miles away at Stovepipe Wells.

You cannot make reservations at this campground. It is open all year, and it is first come, first serve.
