Located within Bryce Canyon National Park The Lodge at Bryce Canyon provides guests with the only lodging within walking distance of the trails and viewpoints of the hoodoos in Bryce Amphitheater. The Lodge at Bryce Canyon offers 40 Western Cabins, 70 motel style rooms, and 4 rooms within the Lodge building itself. The Lodge and cabins were designed by famous park architect Gilbert Stanley Underwood and built in the mid 1920’s. This National Historic Landmark is the only one of the Union Pacific Railroad’s original lodges still standing. The Lodge has a world-class dining room that is open to the public and while lighter fare at the Valhalla Pizzeria which is open during the busy summer months. After a meal stop in at the Lodge’s gift shop for souvenirs and then attend a Ranger-led program in the Lodge’s Auditorium. The General Store is a short walk from all lodging buildings and will provide hikers with all the snacks and maps they will need for their Bryce Canyon adventures.

We stayed in a stand alone cottage, a duplex, not far from the main lodge. Nice-sized room with working fireplace. Somewhat dated. Uncomfortable bed. We could easily hear the neighbors enjoying themselves next door (panting, not screaming), and their bathroom sounded like it was right...More

Property is in the park and one of the better park lodges where we have stayed. Convenient, quiet and clean. Unfortunately the heat seemed to be turned as high as it would go in the hallways. We spoke to a custodian about it but was...More

Sorry for the pretentious title: it's hard to think of something original. We splurged on a cabin here, and it was the best lodging of our entire three-week trip. We had two double beds, a gas fireplace, a two-part bathroom, and all the necessities in...More
