This is a great campground with small children. Plenty of room to ride bikes and explore. Restroom facilities are close at hand. The staff and Rangers were very family oriented, taking time to converse with our small explorers. Bus stop is a short and convenient walk from tent sites.

This was our second trip to Acadia but our first time staying at Seawall. Totally worth having to book it months in advance. Stayed in the "C" loop with a pop-up camper (no electrical or water hook-up). Only downside was no on-site showers but there are pay-showers about 1 1/4 miles down the road. Easy access to everything without being...

I highly recommend Seawall Campground. Seawall is removed from the other park campgrounds, as it is on the west side of Mt. Desert Island in Acadia National Park, and this is almost a must during the high season. The island is *flooded* with people and traffic during the summer months, and Seawall offers a respite. Notably, it is part of...

Great 4 night stay with travel trailer. Sites are pull through which makes getting in/out much easier. No hook-ups which is not a huge deal with some planning. Fresh water was easily accessible to refill as needed. If you travel without full water tanks it is worth pulling past the dump station and filling your tanks with the fresh water...

We have this morning sadly checked out of Seawall after 3 nights tent camping with two kids (6 and 9) and a puppy (5 months!). We stayed in a walk in site, booked last minute, and the whole experience required a leap of faith - far, far from home. What a pleasant surprise! Just a few steps from our car...

Campsite was decently spacious, location was special as hubby had been there 44 years ago! Bathrooms were clean and neat but doors were left open and we heard every toilet flush. Was wonderful to see so many kids outside playing and to just sit out at the seawall and listen to the waves. Wish there were showers at the site!...

Nice clean sites, well maintained, with excellent facilities! Easy to get to clearly marked sites. Easy access to the rest of the park, shuttle service to the rest of this amazing park! Potable water, wash sink, nice clean bathrooms! Nothing bad to say about this place

Seawall Campground is off-the-beaten path to get that isolated camping feel. Restrooms were neat and well lit. Sites had cleaning stations easily accessible along with recycling and trash. Camp supply store, close by, had reasonable prices and a very good variety of materials.

This campground is part of Acadia National Park. It’s located on the west side of MDI. The campgrounds in Acadia National Park are frequently full so it’s advisable to make reservations well in advance. My visit was to scout the campground for future reference. Since I had a park pass, the ranger allowed me to tour the campground. All roads...

This campground is on the "quiet side" of Mount Desert Island, in Acadia National Park. They have tidy clean tent sites, near water spigots, bathrooms with sinks and baby changing tables. Everything is flat or wheelchair accessible. We stayed at the tent sites, but there are RV sites and group sites available, too. It's very near Seawall, a natural stone...
