Once again and for the last time we visited this place. Everything was poor. From dirty tables and carpets to poor service and mediocre food. Not a pleasant experience. Even the wine choices were poor with only one white available and it was served warm.

Recently went to Dalgarven for a meal on a Saturday evening , went in to find only two people eating dinner, very out dated decor and simple out dated menu. Ordered fish and chips and a burger , both tasted frozen . Could have done a better job myself @ home. Won't be going back any time soon

I visited this hotel for the weekend 13/06/14 to 15/06/14. I did ring ahead as I am a single disabled traveler and they couldn't have been more helpful. They were extremely friendly and nothing was a problem. The Scottish Breakfast comes heavily recommended by myself, I had my very first taste of Black Pudding and it was to die for,...

We were a group of eight visiting Mother Kilwinnie, the Mother Lodge of Scotish freemasonry, and had been recommended this hotel as THE place to stay by many who had gone before us. It is about 2 miles from the town centre. The check in was a little confusing over which rooms we were to have (booked over three months...

Dreadful dirty sheet . Bed look as if it had been slept in and duvet just pulled up. Light in bathroom kept flickery and strange noise when it was on. The breakfast looked as if it had been cooked yesterday and reheated up and very greasy. The whole place needs some love and updating ans cleaning.

Calm and peaceful country hotel with real fire and warm welcome. Great sized rooms and big bar area. Large breakfast room overlooking the river. Good sized Scottish breakfast, excellent value for money at £65 per night for B&B Staff were warm and friendly with plenty of time to assist.

We booked this cottage through cottages 4 u. It is owned by this hotel. We arrived to find the cot we asked for was not there.had to go to the hotel to collect it. What problems we had opening the door as the key was bent and we had to wiggle it a lot before it would turn. On entering,...
