We've just had a really lovely long weekend staying in Clover yurt. We were blessed with wonderful weather which made the outdoor life very easy! Our yurt was pretty and comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, the campfire was great and it was good to have our own 'bathroom' with a composting loo and little sink. Becky was welcoming...

We have returned today from a week's break at cuckoo down farm and can honestly say we have had the BEST time. We are a family of 5, our children are 7yrs, 4yrs & 7months and our older two have said its the best holiday they have had. "Better than going on a plane" in their words. The huge meadow...

We have just returned from a weeks break in a yurt here. The yurt was fantastic and the children loved the camp fires, log burns and the dog Lily. It's located in a big enough meadow to easily allow them to play football, rounders and there's a little stream at the bottom they enjoyed. It's local to many little towns....

We recently spent three days in a safari tent (Primrose) at Cuckoo Down Farm and it was fantastic from start to finish. There is nothing that the owners Becky & John have not thought about. The safari tent was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed for a Glampng adventure. Our sons (6&9yrs) loved the open field where they could...

Thanks very much for a terrific review - we're glad you had a nice time here! We are looking into sorting out some curtains, good idea. Otterton Mill is a real favourite of ours too - a lovely walk along the River Otter to the sea at Budleigh Salterton plus fantastic food at the 1000 year old working water mill....

We've done camping before but now the kids are older (16 & 19), we wanted something a little more comfortable - and comfortable we were. We stayed in one of the Safari tents and they are well equipped with rechargeable lanterns which you'll need as its pitch black from early evening! The kitchen was extremely well equipped too with a...

Thanks very much for a terrific review - we're glad you had a such a lovely time here! It was great that you mentioned how clean everything was, our changeover team are really brilliant, they work so hard to such a high standard and we couldn't run the site without them. We have visited once before and decided this time to hire the whole site for a family occasion. The hosts were as ever friendly and helpful, the accommodation spotless, comfy and they have thought of everything you might need. The kids loved exploring and such a bonus to be able to roam free around the huge meadow field and splash...

We stayed in primrose safari tent, we were lucky as primrose is new and was the only tent with a shower. The tent was clean and nicely furnished. The travel cot, high chair and toys we requested were all in place when we arrived. The field is nice, the stream is lovely for kids to play in, the spacing of...
