I decided to stay in San Ramon, as it is a quiet town outside of Matagalpa. I reserved a Deluxe Double room with the expectation that Deluxe meant 2 Twin or Double beds for my associate, and I. When I arrived from Ocotal, the room offered had only one double bed, and a prison like bunk bed. The owner offered...

The Hotel is beautiful, safe, and Clean. The rooms were large and the beds were comfortable. AC kept us cool and comfortable all night. The service was excellent and the restaurant was impressive. The food was fresh and organic with good variety. We could not believe this hotel was offered at a budget price, we expected less and we were...

Just stopped by for a snack - didn't stay at the hotel, but we were struck by the beauty and cleanliness of it. Both the interior and exterior of the hotel were quite striking, and I thought, when seeing it, that it would have been a pleasure to stay here. The village of San Ramon was quiet and pretty, and...

My husband, son and I had reservations for this hotel for one of our nights in Nicaragua. This is a beautiful place full of potential, but the wifi and the Air Conditioning did not work. The AC wouldn't cool the air and the wifi was substandard to be able to do anything internet wise. When talking to owner of the...

The rooms and facility were good, clean, and nice to look at. A relaxing place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were available for reasonable prices. We envisioned San Ramon as a jumping off point for visiting some coffee estates, bird watching, and hiking. It turned out that there isn't really anything much...

We were so pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the rooms and hotel were. You could not match the value for the price! It was decently quiet, quite comfortable, well-decorated and the beds and pillows were clean and comfortable (not something you always find at this price-point in Central America)

We had booked a homestay in an outlaying village that didn't work out and came back into town to look for lodging. Everything is really clean. The rooms are large and the front ones have little balconies. Showers are large with hot water. Price is good.

On our way to tour the gold mine and needed a lunch spot. The village is very quiet and more pleasant than expected. Also unexpected was the family room in the hotel, 2 bunk beds (4 beds) and two double beds. Can sleep 8 with ease. Cost was the same as two rooms in Matagalpa except A/C is included. This family-friendly...

The Hotel y Restaurante Las Orquideas is located in a small town called San Ramon, east of Matagalpa, Nicaragua. It is located next to the town's church and park where people visit and mingle. The town's people are friendly and outgoing. They talk and play their musical instruments on the park steps. There are several little shops around the neighborhood...
