A five star experience from the moment we arrived until the time we left Great staff food and facilities The game drives even in the pouring rain were very memorable, as our ranger never put a step wrong and ensured we saw all the wildlife we possibly could Surrounded by a herd of elephants was incredible

Amazing time at Kariega! We stayed in main lodge, accommodation is a wooden chalet with big bedroom/lounge/ensuite area with vista windows and terrace with beautiful views too. We had 2 game drives a day and meals afterwards with our group (lunch was by ourselves). Our ranger Chris was fantastic and went above and beyond to make the experience special. We...

If I got any closer to the game I would have touched them. Settlers drift was incredible. One of the most beautiful lodges I have stayed at in the world. One the places you have to go if you want something special - Settlers Drift - spectacular!

Had a great experience at this lodge. Our ranger (victor) was amazing and made the trip much more enjoyable and gave us lots of knowledge once we were on safari. Our room was adequate, we had a slight issue with our tv but Kariega main lodge were quick to arrange another one and when it still didn't work they decided...

By far the best South African Game lodge we have visited. Attention to customer service is excellent and a fantastic memorable holiday for all of us. Ranger Rosie was brilliant in finding the best viewing of the animals for us

The suites and lodge are inside an area that is secure from the rest of reserve so it means that you can overlook the spectacular views but can also walk around freely between game drives ... something not always possible at other game reserves. The accommodation...

I normally at not good for doing reviews but in this case it's truly deserved. We stayed here as the first stop on the Garden Route as part of our honeymoon. From start to finish everything was excellent.. Our ranger Steph was knowledgeable, friendly and most hospitable throughout our stay. Quite possibly the most relaxing experience as well as the...

This is one magical place. What you need to know before you go is that they don't serve lunch or offer room service. We have done other safaris who offer a hot and cold lunch menu in addition to their afternoon tea as well as a room service option since safari can get tiresome. This safari offers breakfast, a cold...

A great way to see a wide range of African animals and birds within a well organised comfortable environment. The food was enjoyable, the ranger very knowledgeable, the accommodation spacious and comfortable and it was lovely having a combination of organised activities (morning and evening game drives) and time to relax in between. For our family, this was the highlight...
