My husband and I were given a gift voucher for The Dabbling Duck at Christmas. We were really pleased to find that we could take advantage of the Sunday night Dinner, Bed and Breakfast offer and use our gift voucher too. Such good value for a nights stay with dinner and breakfast for £70 after using our voucher. I had...

We visited the Duck on a Saturday evening for a birthday celebration meal with family. Seated at 7pm, the evening started well but as the pub became busier we noticed the service became a little stretched. Our staters were very good but a couple of the mains were perhaps warm, rather than hot. 2 out of the 3 pudding ordered...

We had a lovely lunch in this stylish historic pub with a modern twist. The food was excellent with a good choice and mix to the unusual and traditional. It was beautifully cooked and presented. The service was friendly and professional. It is situated in a lovely village overlooking the green. A good place to visit any time of year....

We absolutely loved the Dabbling Duck. We were in Norfolk for one night, staying at Ling House in Anmer, and we opted to come here for dinner. Thank god we did - It was perfect for us. It was busy and lively, but in a sophisticated and very civilised way. The interiors were lovely - lots of books in huge...

Stayed two nights in a nice room overlooking the front of the pub. Noise was minimal from the pub & road. Staff were polite & attentive in all areas. Slight misunderstanding on my behalf with the booking, which was quickly sorted to everyone's satisfaction by the landlord. Nice selection of real ales & different flavoured gin's to drink. Food in...

Thank you Dabbling Duck - another wonderful stay at your cracking pub. Huge bonus for me - Brancaster Mussels were on!!! Such a treat. I can't fault the experience at all. This is such a buzzy local with a great range of ales and beers - my wife loves the 'gin menu' !! Cheers

We ate a meal yesterday lunchtime and the food was generally very good but I felt I should complain about the cheese board. Despite mentioning a nut allergy on my booking form the board appeared with some walnuts alongside the cheese. No mention of walnuts was made on the menu. After complaining, the board was replaced but I think this...

We stayed for one night for bed and breakfast. The room was no.5 and very small, but this was alright since only using it for a bed for the night. Breakfast was lovely. I had kippers and husband a selection of full English. We both had a slice of granary toast, thick cut and evenly toasted. Lovely. Orange juice tasted of...
