If anything distinguishes the Hostal and the Apartments Remoña, that is, without a doubt, its incomparable geographical situation. Cantabria offers an innumerable range of tourist possibilities of the first order (excellent beaches, Altamira, Cabárceno, Alto Campoo, El Soplao ...), however, above all the Picos de Europa National Park stands out imposingly. To access its Central Massif, there is an installation, the Fuente Dé Cable Car, which, year after year, is one of the most visited in Cantabria. And three minutes from the Cable Car of Fuente Dé, in the town immediately before, in Espinama, belonging to the City of Camaleño, within the glorious Valle de Liébana, exactly where the Hostal Remoña and the Remoña Apartments are located. A unique environment that can accompany a magnificent stay. And is that rural tourism is not at odds with comfort or style, two of the criteria that have marked the design of the rooms of Hostal Remoña and Apartments Remoña. The combination of the taste

We had a wonderful 3 night's stay at Hostal Ramona. The location is perfect for Fuente De. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and quiet. The food is delicious and (be warned) comes in generous portions. The Ox chop is especially recommended. Finally, Jesus and Tony were great hosts and made us feel very welcome.

The idea was to make the town the center of operations for the routes, so this hostel suited me perfectly.
4 days half board, where there was no time for boredom.
Half board? For me, more than enough, but if you are a posh person this is not your place: here you have lunch/dinner with substance.
Prices? nothing expensive

I am not going to criticize the hotel, but the management. This hotel sells food products. We bought calune honey (excellent).
Back in France we ask the hotel if it is possible to buy some (6 pots of 1kg) and send it to us. " Yes, no problem". We pay by bank transfer 100€.
But the package arrives, with jars of honey completely different from the order, (3 jars broken, because they were very poorly packaged)
We called the hotel management to inform them of their mistake.
There we were treated with contempt, and the hotel did not want to admit its mistake, even with the evidence.
They no longer respond to emails.
This is called my dishonesty.

My family of six (2 children, 2 grandparents, me and my husband) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hostal Remona. The staff was helpful, informative and just so friendly. The apartment was amazing. We rented two apartments that were very clean, modern and well furnished. Both had kitchens with refrigerators and one even had a wine fridge. This is an excellent location for any of your hikes in and around the Picos de Europa. The hostal is very close to the funicular (less than 5minutes drive) that takes you to the top of the Pedro Remona Mountain. The hostal has several outstanding features besides the apartment amenities (which are huge in an of itself). First and foremost, the staff wants to ensure that you have a wonderful stay. They provided us with valuable park information regarding sites and presentations that gave us more insight into the park. They have an excellent restaurant that serves meats and cheeses that they have cultivated on their eco-friendly farms. They are great storytellers regarding the animals that they care for and the property that they maintain. The hostal is located next to a church that will have a shutter happy aficionado clicking away. I can not over emphasize how delicious the food was at their restaurant and the local wines form the area are a must. If you are in the Picos de Europa area, do not miss Hostal Remona. We only stayed on night, but one can easily spend a week at Hostal Remona with all of the activities in and around the area and the restaurant alone is worth the stay.

We would highly recommend the apartments owned by, and situated just beside, the Hostal Remona. They are in a fantastic location in the middle of the beautiful, atmospheric old village with a stable with an old slate roof opposite and a hay loft and a handsome, ruined church on the other side of the road. Our apartment was excellent in every respect - nicely furnished. well-equiped, extremely comfortable and very good value. The hostal staff were extremely friendly. In addition, Espinama is a superb base for exploring the moutains, only 5 minutes by car from Fuente De.

Hostal Remoña was a beautiful hotel with modern rooms. We enjoyed our stay and all the staff were very friendly and helpful when they were around. They gave me gluten free products at breakfast and at dinner. The breakfast was continental and there was a good selection, although a lot of it contained wheat so I had cured ham and boiled eggs with my gluten free bread, also some yogurt. The room was modern and very basic. Unfortunately the hairdryer wasn't very good and the outside of it was all sticky. We slept well, it was a bit noisy. The dinner is also of good quality, I especially liked the cracker breads, cheese and courgette jam. Overall it's a good hotel in a perfect location.

I have been visiting Espinama and the Picos de Europa, which I consider to be the most scenic place in Spain, for over forty years and rate this hotel to be the best place to stay there. The food is memorable with a nice selection of local dishes served with style and distinction. The village is at the foot of the mountains and offers the best access to exploring this dramatic range of peaks.

Hola! Sí, tienen apartamentos con terraza, pero no sé si se podrán meter perros. Mejor que les preguntes a ellos que son encantadores.
