The only good thing that I have to say is the staff were really friendly and very helpful but the hotel needs a total refurb the hotel food was really awful, the breakfast was utterly awful, I really am sure the sausage had never seen a pig in its life, and I am sure did not contain any meat whatsoever,...

This hotel is hugely over priced. It looks like a prison and does not welcome customers at all. There is no clear signage to the reception when standing outside the building. No room service despite advertising such. Positively dreadful and not recommended. Staff cannot be bothered. Find a better hotel in the area and avoid this over priced disaster

Staff, bad mannered, rude, hostile, chip on their shoulder, living on daddy's yacht. The woman in the reception area in the morning who i guess is from south Africa from her accent is plain rude, she needs training in PR who she thinks she is i do not know but she should not speak to people like they are below...

rooms clean and adequately furnished. Unfortunately we didn't have a room with a view of the lake. Breakfast is buffet style which option of full English and cereal, fruit and toast. Old fashioned décor but clean and well positioned for the lakeside country club.

Stayed Lakeside CONTINENTAL Very convenient for world darts. Hotel is showing its age and price at bar is high. However staff very friendly and attentive. Special thanks to front of house lady in reception. Very helpful and service with a genuine friendly demeanour.

We were given a room in one of the 'Lakeside Lodges' which sounds very grand but in reality they struggle to be poor. This is quite a large complex with buildings sprawling all over with some of the worst signage ever. It was raining when we arrived and it wasn't clear where the reception was. Eventually we found it but...

We stayed for one night and were allocated a 'lodge', which was a room set away from the main hotel. It contained all the basics and was clean. But was very dated and tired furniture, carpets and bedding. The room smelt of stale smoke. If the hotel was to employ a handy man for a year and buy 100's of...

I booked a double room at the lakeside lodges hotel. It was horrible. The room had a horrible nasty pungent smell as soon as you opened the door. We complained and got another room below that one. It wasn't any better nor did it feel safe either. Then the power went out. We then had to wait at the reception...
