Booked a three night break with HF holidays which included two wonderful days of guided walking, all meals and parking at Lulworth Cove main car park. The room, number 22 was in an annex joined to the hotel and was very clean and comfortable with a 'seaside' theme. Food was of a very high quality with plenty of choice. Overall... More

our first ever HF walking weekend was absolutely fantastic and this hotel was in the perfect spot. The organisation of guests and the hard work of staff certainly set a standard that many could follow. Loved the communal layout of the tables which allowed guests to mingle with each other and share tales of the days adventure. Pre-ordering meals and... More

We went on a four day walking holiday with our local Ramblers group. We had a lovely room with double aspect views of the sea and hills. Mark and his team looked after us extremely well with excellent food and amazing packed lunches. The three walks leaders were also very friendly and professional and provided us with entertainment in the... More

Nice rooms, lovely spot, very good breakfast. Staff very friendly. Very clean, updated rooms and bathroom. Price was high for a hotel of this standard, but it's all about the location. One thing to note is that rooms in the main building can be quite noisy - the noise from the bar below was very annoying, and whenever anyone moved... More

We stayed here on a 4 night walking holiday with HF Holidays. We opted for the Superior room (#22) and were not disappointed. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and great views. The food was excellent, with large portions and the staff, led by Mark, were excellent. The view from the pool was spectacular.

I could not more highly recommend West Lulworth House. I was there for two guided hikes. The guides were very welled versed in the terrain, the area and the history. The accommodation was spotless and top class. It also included hairdryer, tea tray, towel warming rack,TV, etc. For hikers, there was a drying room. There is an outdoor pool but... More

Stayed for 7 nights walking holiday. Fantastic management and staff. The property in a nice position and free parking nearby. The food was very good. The walk leaders led us on a variety of trails to suit everyone. The room was cosy with a seaside theme. But there was some noise from guest up above early in the morning. On... More

Easy journey by train to Wool and taxi to drive us on a 5 mile transfer to Lulworth Cove. West Lulwoth House has recently been upgraded. There is a sumptuous new conservatory bar and lounge. The food was delicious as one expects on an HFHoliday. I have several food allergies which were addressed by the superb chef and staff. Mark... More

We were there on a walking tour. Lots to do if you are a hiker. The coastal trail is nearby with many sights. Rooms are good, updated. Food and bar are great. We took a taxi in. I would not say drive a car in. The cove is just down the very narrow street. The stairs look narrow, we were... More
