Stayed here last minute for one night to visit Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. Excellently located just a minute walk from the shingle beach, beautiful bistro which doubles as a breakfast area. Nice and light and open. The only room left was a "deluxe" and...More
We booked Lulworth Lodge at the last minute and managed to get one of the smaller rooms for one night. The Hotel has been recently refurbished and has been done in a charming way which appealed to me when looking online. It did not disappoint...More

Had a lunch of crab and prawn sandwiches which were complete with straw chips. Really well presented and absolutely delicious. Had a dessert of Dorset Apple cake which was really good. Food was very well presented and great location on a wonderful sunny day.

Yes dogs are allowed. I think there may be only one or two rooms so it's well worth asking when you book just to make sure you are allocated a dog friendly room. Ours was accessible from the wooden stairway that took us straight to the balcony so it was great! Dogs are also allowed in to the public areas when meals have finished - it's quite small there but really cosy and nice! Dogs are also allowed on the beach all year round (to the left of the cove in summer) so a perfect place to stay! If you go I hope you enjoy it🐶
