For its location (right smack in the middle of a small rural town in remote China), you really can't fault Dongxingmi. You also don't visit this part of China expecting to stay a Sheraton or a Hyatt. Yes, as other reviewers have noted, the rooms are basic but they have all the basic comforts and most importantly, is clean and...

We had a basic room and would recommend that you go for the upgrade. There was nothing wrong with the room, it was clean and had a good shower, but …. very basic. HAving said that, it did the job for one night . It was very quiet. Would have been nice to been offered the Chinese breakfast rather than...

The lobby is impressive in size, however one small desk functions as reception. Friendly receptionist with some knowledge of English. Rooms are fairly large with adequate bathroom. Beds are fairly hard, but not uncomfortable. Bathroom is clean. Very quiet location, at least the room we were in. The hotel is located somewhat above and away from street level, so no...

Good hotel...staff very fiendly. Room good and clean...bathroom great...hot water. Food was basic(chinese stile).Breakfast...very very basic but i think no so many western peoples in this area... Sevice was good but ours guide help us to communicate with them....overall was a good one nigth stay!

Arrived in this hotel late for an overnight stay. Before arriving we noted that it was located in the busy area of the city, but secluded from the noise as it was positioned behind the street.
