The service was to be improved but the food was second to none. We had not booked to stay overnight but we had a very nice and welcoming evening meal. It seems to be one of the only places nearby that served its own menu and not some average branded menu we have grown to accept. The kitchen was very...

We recently returned to this hotel for a two night break. We had not visited for about three years but we're delighted to find that it remained as good as ever. The restaurant, which always offers great and well presented tasty food had undergone a re-vamp but had retained its country pub feel. A most attractive room and a really...

My husband and I purchased a £25.00 voucher from Travelzoo (2 course lunch for 2 people) for this lovely old pub in the very picturesque Deddington, Oxfordshire. The pub has been very recently and wonderfully refurbished to create a stylish and contemporary restaurant ambiance. The food we both had was beautifully presented and very delicious. The voucher which cost £25.00...

I have only stayed in the premier rooms which are spacious enough. However every room I have stayed in is always insanely hot despite turning the radiators down to minimum. Also, the in room irons are dirty and can often turn a white shirt into a grey shirt. The restaurant is good but could do with some more healthier options....

I arrived quite late, around 9.15 p.m. and had a warm and efficient welcome at the recption. although the kitchen was about to close, I was offered the opportunity dinner. As i wasn't really hungry I asked for a sandwich, and was given a good choice. The room was pleasant, with good quality fittings. The bathroom was bigger than many...
