There were a number of issues for what was supposed to be a special Mother's Day weekend. The rooms were basic, the food not particularly special and missing components and finally the service was inflexible and surly. This hotel does not represent value for money. Could try a lot harder.

Stayed for two nights while visiting Oxford and Blenheim Palace. Hotel is excellent value for money and conveniently located to visit all the places we wanted to go to. Not only did the package include dinner on the first night and wine on the second, we were also given free entry tickets to Blenheim! The staff in the hotel were...

We stayed at the Deddington Arms through a Travelzoo deal and had a really lovely time. The package was for 2 nights with a meal allowance on the first night, breakfast each morning and tickets to a choice of attractions for us both. This package was our reason for visiting Oxfordshire and we weren't disappointed. The pub / hotel is...

We have found that on our last visit the menu here has taken a down turn. This hotel was our go to place for Sunday lunch the roast beef lunch was right my street and the roast potatoes were cooked to perfection crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle BUT this last visit, well no Sunday lunch on...

Many thanks for your constructive review and I'm sorry you did not enjoy the Sunday Lunch as much as you had on previous visits. We recently moved to a full a la carte menu on Sundays but with the addition of a Sunday Roast - I quite agree that this should be included with the menu rather than left to...

Well located for anywhere in North Oxfordshire. Nice big room with separate sitting area (room 6) directly above the bar area which was noisy up till 7.30 and peaceful there after on both the nights we stayed. Nice refurbished eating area with big fire, food is very nice indeed and the staff are very friendly too. The Village itself is...

The chance of a nose around Bicester and the possibility of another Figure Hugging treat at Karen Millen was more than enough to get Miss Gorgeous in the mood for a night or Two away (We had to be in Hook Norton for an engagement on the Saturday). I looked online for a suitable place and found the Reviews for...

We stayed here for the week end, the staff were so helpful and very polite could not do enough for you, and knowledge of the surrounding area was good to. Our room was clean and very spacious. I would recommend anyone to go here.

We visited The Deddington Arms as a birthday treat. We were not disappointed. We had a lovely meal, cooked beautifully and served by wonderfully friendly staff. It was good value for money (but not cheap) for a top quality Lunch. The setting was wonderfully different, with cosy corners to enjoy a special meal. The background music was enough not to be...

The service was to be improved but the food was second to none. We had not booked to stay overnight but we had a very nice and welcoming evening meal. It seems to be one of the only places nearby that served its own menu and not some average branded menu we have grown to accept. The kitchen was very...
