I was so happy to stay the room Vatn in Jónstott guesthouse and enjoyed a lovely time there. The room has a view towards the mountains and the little stream next to the house gives a wonderful accoustic sourrounding and nature feeling. The interiour was cozy and a perfect mixture of professional look and private touch. I stayed alone in...

The location of Jonstott is right in the northern lights zone and the scenery just outside the house was breathtaking! The interior of the house was nice and warm. Fully equipped with kitchen utensils which was very important for us as we celebrated our christmas there. Definitely a place for families to gather around for festive. The housekeeper, the lady...

We arrived at Keflavik Airport in the afternoon and went sightseeing around Reykjavik. We stayed overnight at the guesthouse on our way to Thingvellir National Park the next day. The communications through email was prompt and precise. Directions to go to the guesthouse will be easy to follow when there is still light, but in the dark, the landmarks were...

We were heading for Reykjavik last minute (the plane was taking off in a few hours). All hotels were booked, but one nearby Jonstott told us about this new guesthouse. We contacted the owners through the website and they responded nearly instantly. Moreover, we had to bother them with many, many special requests since the nature of our trip was...

When I first looked at the photos on the website and compared them to the nightly rates I thought there might be something a bit dodgy going on here as it looked a lot finer than the price indicated. But Jonstott was even more beautiful in real life. It was the perfect mix of pristine wilderness and cosy comfort that...

This recently renovated apartment is located just a short drive from downtown Reykjavik. It was more than accommodating, quiet and comfortable for us while providing all the amenities I would expect from a modern apartment - more comfortable than my own home, I didn't want to leave. Perfectly suitable for families, or even larger groups we found it to be...

Wow! The views & scenery around Jonstott Guesthouse and the valley Mosfellsdal is something I could simply never tire of. Jonstott is close to many activities within Mosfellsdal itself – golf, horse riding and countless hiking trails up and along the surrounding mountains. It is also just a short drive from the amazing Thingvellir national park, and the wonderful Gulfoss,...
