We stayed for a couple nights and can confirm what all the other reviewers are saying - this is excellent. Gundrun takes very good care of each and every guest, and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. She's a fountain of information and an incredible baker/chef too (fresh loaf of bread is a real treat)!...

We stayed with Gudrun & Valur 12/29/16-1/2/17 and can't say enough about our stay with these wonderful people at this lovely guesthouse! They are a sweet couple and have thought of every little detail to make sure your stay is comfortable. The whole place is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, and although sharing a bathroom with up to 4 other people...

We hade one of our best Bed & Breakfast stays ever at Minna-Mosfell Guesthouse. The rooms a really nice, the bathroom has very high standard och the livingroom with kitchen is wakrm and welcoming. But the best part is the hosts. They're extreamly kind and helpful, know Iceland very well and are always ready to give a helping hand. We...

We stayed at Minna-Mosfell with our 3 young kids and couldn't have been happier. Hosts are wonderfully helpful and sweet as can be! Lovely location close to the golden circle and to Reykjavik. Highly recommend for families or any travelers.

We stayed for five nights and were made welcome from the moment we stepped out of the hire car. Gudrun and her husband were so friendly and extremely knowledgable about their country; we were given some fabulous ideas of where to visit and stories that went with them. There was freshly baked bread, cookies, doughnuts and brownies each morning and...

My wife and I along with our seven year old son are very glad we stayed here during our three day stay in Iceland. The hospitality was outstanding we felt welcomed right from the moment we arrived until we left. As far as Iceland goes it was also a great value, an easy drive from Reykavik. Lots of great suggestions...

The guesthouse was a short drive from Reykavik and easier to find then expected. Guðrún went above and beyond to help us plan our trip both prior to arrival via email and while we were there. She would come upstairs every morning with fresh baked bread and help us plan activities in the area for the day (she has a...

Our week in Iceland was the trip of a lifetime, due in large part to our stay at the Minna-Mosfell Guesthouse! We spent eight lovely nights here, and it's no exaggeration when I say that Guðrún and Valur treated us like family. From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. The accommodations at the guesthouse were exceptionally clean,...

On the upper floor of a large farm house, MinnaMosfell offers excellent rooms with a wonderful view. Located near the road that is the beginning of the golden circle, it is convenient both for excursions to the near attractions and to downtown Reykjavik. And, best of all, it is a dark enough location to wait for the Northern Lights, right...

Our vacation ended in staying at the Minna-Mosfell Guesthouse. We stayed 2 nights and it was wonderful. The accommodations were comfortable (and warm! It was winter) and easy to get to. We had a car and Guðrún helped us each morning plan out what we were doing. She suggested great stops along the way to Geysir and Gulfoss. We even...
