Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.

Thank you for your recent stay and reviewing us. As you mentioned the walls in our hotel rooms are thin for security reason, however we apologize for that made you unpleasant stay. Regarding to the transportation from/to Shinjuku Station, there is a loop bus which rounds Shinjuku Area takes you to Shinjuku Station. It stops in front of our hotel, so if there is a chance for us to serve you again near future, please ask our staff about it. Again, thank you for taking your time to write such a valuable comment. Dear traveller, I don't remember the exact route(s) I travelled during my stay at SWH well enough to give advice to you, except to say that if you plan on moving about a lot by metro throughout the day, the most economical way is to buy the "day pass" so you can have unlimited rides within the timeframe of the pass. I believe the cost for one day pass was 900Yen 2018 August price. The subway system there is vast and quite complex as some stations of different lines seem to overlap when viewed on the maps. However, I've found the people very happy to help when approached. Best of luck and have a good trip!

Sorry I do not have experience in leaving luggage with concierge overnight so cannot advise you. It really should be a question for the hotel concierge. I wish you good luck though!

Hi, does the hotel offer luggage shipping to other hotels? If so how much?
We found that most hotels use luggage forwarding including this one. I don't recall exactly. However, I think it was the equivalent to Au $35.
