We stayed here for one night and we would recommend it. The views were beautiful, the room was large and we were warmly welcomed with coffee and cake on arrival! The owner does not speak any English but that didn't cause us any problems and we got by on quite a bit of gesturing! The breakfast was really something special... More

Only stayed for one night but it was great. The hosts, who don't speak any English, were incredibly accommodating and generous. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was delightful--we liked the hazelnut torte so much, they let us take half for the road! Highly recommend.

We stayed here for 2 nights in August 2014. We wanted to do wine tasting in Barolo and Barbaresco and found this place on tripadvisor based on the good reviews. Even after reading all the good reviews the place still exceeded our expectation. We got there late at night and couldn't find it very easily using our GPS. We called... More

We had a wonderful stay in Le Viole, in the village of Vergne, near Barolo. You are welcomed with coffee or tea with a nice piece of fruit tart, and a friendly smile. The host lady's English is just sufficient - at least a lot better than our Italian! The room was excellent, good bed and clean shower and toilet.... More

Amazing hospitality, gorgeous breakfast with local cheeses, cakes, fresh juice and homemade jams. Our room was very clean and it had a lovely view of the countryside. It's a nice, if a bit vigorous walk to Barolo (up hill on the return trip), and only about 3k to La Morra. An incredible deal in Piemonte!

The owner and her family are extremely welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Lovely room with balcony and view over the hills (I think all rooms have this). The room had a lot of character and was very clean. Our room was cleaned and bed made on our second day which we hadn't expected for the price. They... More

Agriturismo le Viole is a great family run place. It's in a great within 5 minutes drive to Barolo and La Morra and within a walking distance to a very nice restaurant and winery. We had a great experience and the owners were very friendly. The rooms were comfortable, clean and warm (we visited during the winter). Breakfast was good... More
