There are times when words cannot describe how wonderful something is. This agriturismo in Molise is truly a wonderful place to stay. Molise is an undiscovered jewel, even by most Italians, Masseria Santa Lucia is an example of what an agritrismo should be - fully equipped (fridge stove) modern and clean. Food so very good

This is a lovely homely masseria beautifully situated and immaculately kept. It is situated about 10 km from Agnone so you do need a car. Emma cooks a delicious meal every night which you share a table with other guests using local produce. For our meal she had picked wild fennel and made a wonderful paste dish. We had a...

This was our third visit to the Masseria Santa Lucia and felt like we were going back home. Emma and Decio have a way of making us feel like we just left them yesterday instead of 5 years ago. This time we stayed in Villa Nicola and enjoyed the views of Agnone and the surrounding country side from the terrace....

As many visitors to Molise, we went there once with the children 12 yrs ago for summer holidays. The warm welcome, the nice and comfortable Masseria, the cultural heritage stories from Decio, the food quality from Emma and the wild surroundings of Molise brought us such satisfied that we have been there every year since then. Last December and for...

Masseria Santa Lucia is an agriturismo on a real working farm, and the agricultural products end up on your dinner table. The friendly proprietors make wine, olive oil, prosciutto, and many other wonderful foods. Emma is a very good cook, and will even do a cooking class to teach local specialties. She taught me to make homemade spaghetti and meatballs,...

Molise is not the best known region in Italy but certainly worth a visit, very nice nature and interesting things to see (old antic ruins, nice walks in the mountains....) The masseria is very well kept (you can tell that the owners are taking good care of it...) Very pleasant place to rest and eventually enjoy the swimming pool after...
