The personnel was so friendly! We enjoyed the breakfast very much, as well as the cooking experience. Although we found the wheather to cold to swim, it was amazing to just enjoy the sun outside while reading a book. Not to forget the nature surrounded by the place which is perfect for walkings on/off road :) Finally, you cannot leave without having a massage, and please take the Ayurvedic one! Thanks for making our stay so nice! Anneleen…
This is a fantastic hotel. You must experience it to fully understand. We came from Lisbon and went deeper and deeper into the mountainside - then it is amazing to find something like this. Very nice experience ! Not a traditional hotel. Very peaceful in the middle of a national park. Super breakfast, very nice atmosphere. The people are very helpful, very open. Every room is special and different. You need to explore this.

The afternoon was spent relaxing by the beautiful outdoor pool before a truly delicious Portuguese tapas style dinner where we shared three dishes - mussels, calamari and sweet potato mash, and a steak espetada. We enjoyed a bottle of wine from the Minho region on their apparently very worthwhile wine list. The bedroom was well appointed and very comfortable and we had a balcony with beautiful mountain views. Definitely should have stayed longer. …
