I stayed here with a group and we found this hotel to be good by Tanzanian standards. It was not what I am used to, hence the average rating for my comparison. The room was comfortable with a lovely bed, but the shower was weak and the WiFi connection was very poor and caused me some problems as I was...

Friendly staff welcoming you saying karibu means welcome. Its a good place to stay and have nice food in cheap rate. Being a resident in musoma 4 years visited the hotel number of times. If any one love a relaxed stay and good food in cheap price its a good choice in very small town of musoma

We had the buffet choice at Afrilux. It was a set price and all you could eat from the dishes set out. The food was very nice and filling, with one soda and fruit for dessert also included in the price.

I often stay in the Afrilux. There are slightly more "glam" hotels in Musoma however Afrilux is the best to stay in. The staff are fabulous, the price is for next to nothing, it is clean and friendly. The food (which always takes AGES to come - order it as you arrive and then go and shower because it always...

We held a meeting at Afrilux Hotel and everything was well done. They do a great buffett lunch. The rooms are clean and comfortable. However, there was no hot water for showering. The hotel is just a short walk to Lake Victoria.

Had to sleep at the Afrilux for just 1 night because the place we wanted to stay was fully booked. Charming and friendly receptionist, very clean large room, decently but simply furnished and everything was working, hot water, a/c, flat screen TV, buffet breakfast included for TZ 40.000/2p (about 18€); incredible! Only little problem was that in the morning it's...

The rating could be either 3 or 4, depending on the comparison. Our room had, when the power was on, satellite TV, air conditioning, a window that opened with a bit of a view of the lake, over head fan, hot water at certain times of the day, a buffet breakfast, and a pleasant bar sitting area. This is probably...

The view (a bit sideways) of the lake and sunset colors was gorgeous, the sleeping was quiet and comfortable and the buffet breakfast was delicious. The wifi worked well. The doors lock well from the inside for solo female travelers. I highly recommend Afrilux!
