We stayed here with another couple for 5 nights. The rooms are very standard and not at all comfortable. We payed 5,500Rs (bargained from 6,000Rs) per night so a bit above average room price. The major draw of this place is it's location, it's located right on the beach with a nice garden facing south west. Hammocks in the garden...

This hotel, located at the end of the Mirissa beach was a lovely place to end our trip. Although the rooms are quite pricey, although bargaining might help, the setting in nice green gardens and right next to the beach, and the spacious rooms with A/C, fan and real warm water are worth it. Only drawback are the blankets and...

This is a lovely hotel, set in gorgeous gardens at the far end of the beach. I really appreciated the fact that it is a short distance away from the main beach area, which is nice to visit by day, but not really my thing at night. My room was good, overlooking the garden and the beach. Everything worked well,...

Located on the eastern end of the Mirrisa beach, this is such a lovely hotel. With its green garden and direct access to the beach and the Giragala rock, the setting of this hotel is so relaxing that makes you feel like you are definitely on holiday. We had a room on the first floor. There are table and chairs...

We came to the mirissa beach party with out making a booking and found that their were no rooms and finally we were directed to this hotel by one of the three wheeler drivers. this place looked very old but as we did not have any other options we took the room. Manager was very good but the hotel was...

We spent 18 days in the hotel and we stayed in the bungalow, thereis only one which was the only accommodation available for this amount of time. We spent 10 weeks in Sri Lanka and we considered this to be the best beach and there were no sand flies. The manager and personel were very friendly and we felt right...

Giragala has the best beachside garden in all of Mirissa and sheltered swimming offered by Teacup Cove. Its end-of-beach position is away from some of the noisier backpacker accommodation of the central beach, and the small island just offshore shields the bathing area from larger waves. The fenced, grassy garden means you can enjoy being right on the water but...

Giragala Village hotel is located next to the Palm Villa which is mentioned in the Lonley Planet guide as top choice. As we stayed in both hotels, we judge Giragala as a far better place then Palm villa, it has a bigger garden, 2 nice stretches of nice sand beach, it is very clean, all staff is very friendly and...

Cleanish rooms, old decor but generally ok. Set in some nice grounds right on the beach. Not exactly a hotel to write home about but nothing really wrong with it. Ok as somewhere to stay for a few nights but there are nicer places in mirissa for a longer stay.

I spent few nights in this corner of the Mirissa beach. The hotel garden on the beach is very airy during those extremely hot days. I love the hammocks under the garden palms! But I agree with some of the previous reviews, the rooms are a bit old, though clean enough, and for my liking the beds were not very...
