Amazing! We took an ac garden room, in fact the fan is enough so you dont neet an ac room. Moreover the garden room is about 20 metters from the beach rooms so i guess there is no special reason to pay more for the beach rooms. The 4 pm tea time is a great, the room was clean and...

After a couple of weeks traveling around sri Lanka, we treated ourselves to a couple of days at the beach to relax. Palm Villa was the perfect place to do this and we weren't disappointed. It took us a few hours to get used to the 'resort'-like vibe, as you are simply surrounded by a lot of fellow beach tourists,...

We were staying at the Palm Villa as a family of 5 (with 3 children; ages 11, 10 & 5) and what can I say…fantastic! We arrived at the airport in the very early hours having had a nightmare flight, to be met by the welcome & smiles of the hotel arranged transport. On our arrival at Palm Villa, were...

Stayed here for a week to start our Sri Lanka itenary. We had a great time at this excellent place. Friendly and helpfull staff, great accomodation, location and good food. At the time we were there, the sea was too choppy to swim in so we went for a swim to the new hotel pool on the beach to the...

We liked the fun, friendly staff and the ton of little touches: mosquito coils outside the room every evening, umbrella outside your door when it rained, etc. It's a great spot on the bay with a grassy area for sunbeds so no sand between toes. Comprehensive Xmas decorations that took days to install. By far the best restaurant we found...

We sadly only had one night at this beautiful hotel as we wasted our beach time in Arugam Bay which is nowhere near as beautiful as this place. Palm Villa is a small white colonial villa covered with green vines with a lovely green lawn with hammocks and banana lounges next to a restaurant over looking the beach. The beach...

Palm Villa is a very welcoming hotel, with eye for details. The decoration is wonderfull, the staff a delight and the food equally good. The afternoon thea with daily changing extra's is one of these extra's. The owner is a really nice, cheerfull man. Don't hesitated, easily the best place in Mirissa.

We stayed two nights here in August. It looks a little underwhelming from outside but inside it is lovely. It faces onto the bay with the sound of waves audible. There is a nice little grassy area with sun loungers and a nice little eating area. The room itself (a genuine triple) was lovely. Lots of space, ac and fan,...

It ain't new. It ain't posh. It ain't corporate. It is pure charm in a magnificent beach location with a giant rock promontory (that you can wade out to and climb and sunbathe on) separating 2 stunning beaches with awesome breaking surf that makes you want to paddle out and hang 10 (were it not littered with jagged boulders jutting...

This place would have to be my favourite hotel from our trip to Sri Lanka. The villa is beautifully maintained and set in a perfect location just around the corner from the main stretch of the Mirissa beach. We particularly like the decor of the rooms and stayed in both room 9 and 14 during our stay. The afternoon tea...
