Surrounded by approximately 6 Hectares of forest, the resort offers a much needed get-away from city life. It offers excellent food, tailor-made trips, pick-up and drop from railway station. The best thing is the staff who are always there to help you. I particularly enjoyed early morning walks through the narrow paths in the forest. There is a lot of things to see in Jhargram which takes up most of the day, leaving enough time to relax in the evening in the secluded resort. I definitely recommend staying in Chetona Eco Resort when in Jhargram.

Good ambience.Nice location inside the jungle.Staffs are helpful.Food is average.Car parking is available.Vegetables grown inside the complex are used in the kitchen. We ordered country chicken which was not so good.Rooms were clean . Manager Biswanath was always helping us with a smile.Overall nice experience.

The rooms are well decorated and the washrooms are very well maintained. The small cottages are best to have breakfast or lunch. The food was also nice and homely. The kitchen garden, ponds and a small forest inside the campus of the resort are another attractions of this place.

Its a Natural place near forest, lonely pollution free large places with fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, chicken. The resort was at 4 hours journey from Kolkata airport & 7 km from Jhargram Station, they serve organic food.

Best place for the people who intends to stay in the nature. Perfect location, quality services, ambience and most importantly the behaviour of the manager Mr Subhashis Deb Sinha and his team is amazing. Highly recommended place. I've made my mind that whenever I'll come to Jhargram I'll stay at Chetona Eco Village only.

If one wishes to spend a few days away from the maddening pace of regular city life - THIS IS THE PLACE. Located in a tribal area with Sal forests all around, practically no mobile network available, this is a nature lover's paradise. It is more of a farm resort than the normal luxury resorts that one is accustomed to. Outstanding hospitality from the owner and his entire team - friendly and warm, always ready to assist in every possible way with a permanent smile on their faces. The accommodation may not be exactly up to the expectations of city bred guests or even for visitors from modern day towns, but all the accommodation discomforts simply get erased by the hospitality, homely cuisine and the vast expansive open as well as forest land all around. AN IDEAL PLACE for a few days of unwinding and the proverbial Bengali style of lazing around. ON A VERY SELFISH NOTE - I only wish the property is not commercialised into a luxury resort !!

It is a nice place just away from Jhargram town. There are three rooms to stay in a two storied hut type surrounded by nature.The rooms and bathrooms are clean. The owner (Subhasis) is very friendly and a nature lover. You can get fresh vegetables and fish grown up there. There is a big room. However, its AC is not cooling properly considering the temperature in April (when we visited the place). Evening is very pleasant. You can chat outside in Khatia also while Rocky (a dog) will look after you. It is better if you have car with you for better mobility. In any case, you will definitely enjoy your outing for a couple of days.

Jhargram is located in the western part of Paschim Medinipur. Beyond the Gangetic plains of Bengal, Jhargram offers the most exotic undulating topography culminating in hill ranges of Belpahari, Kankrajhor in the North to the serene and meandering Subarnarekha River in the South. It is a paradise for nature lovers with bountiful forests of sal, teak, peasal and mahul, wild elephants, deer and birds in its vicinity. It is a favorite destination for people who love forests. The ancient temples, royal palaces, cultural feats of folk music and tribal dance, makes it an extremely attractive destination for tourists who enjoy discovering the unknown and unaffected beauty of nature in this area.
