This is a 2.5 star hotel at best. The extra half point is because the hotel looks good from the outside! While the outside looks great, the rooms were small and the bathrooms were really terrible. To start the front desk would not let us have rooms on different floors (we were 2 couples). This, after offering us a choice of rooms. Finally, what seemed like the manager, came and moved us to the rooms we requested. Be very sure to ask for front facing rooms. The side facing rooms have no view at all. The back facing rooms actually look on what seem like store rooms with zinc roofs. Definitely not something you want to see.

The bathroom doors have funny coloured laminates on the inner side. Looks like the locks were replaced, but were shoddily done. The wall tiles were replaced but not completely, so they look like an uneven patch work wall. There was no shower glass or curtain so the entire floor gets wet when showering. The only good thing was the hot water and good shower head. One part of the ceiling even had tissue paper stuck in. To cover a leak?

The front garden is nice and great to sit and enjoy the weather. Lovely Willow trees front the hotel adding a little charm to the place.

The real saving grace was that the staff were friendly and the F n B manager explained lots about local cuisine, especially the breads. They also serve a very good Khawah (Kashmiri tea). Do try it. This one tasted very authentic. Other places did an “instant” version, without nuts etc.

If you want quiet dining, then go only off season. The restaurant gets very noisy as the guests do not seem to understand how to speak softly! But this is true of most Average to below average hotels in India.

I along with my friend and his wife planned for a trip to Srinagar, pahalgam and gulmarg. We were looking for a good tour organiser and we chanced to find the Pine spring hotel group and it's reservation section. We had a telephonic talk with the reservation incharge Saima Nabi,a good natured lady with a very sweet voice. She very meticulously arranged our stay at all these three places in Pine spring property. We stayed there from 15th Feb'20 to 21st Feb'20.
Unfortunately the approach road to Pine spring hotel in Pahalgam was damaged and blocked due to heavy snowfall, hence we could not stay there in Pine spring hotel.
Our experience at Gulmarg and Srinagar in Pine Spring hotel was quite enjoyable and memorable.
Both at Gulmarg and Srinagar the hotels were quite nice and centrally located with all the necessary amenities.
In Pine Spring hotel Srinagar,we had a chanced meet with Md Iqubal(if I remember the name correctly),the hotel owner who was quite a nice and smart gentleman. He gave us kashmiri cuisines.
I would like to mention Saima Nabi again, who quite painstakingly listened to our frequently changed programmes and schedules and always agreed to arrange accordingly.
We appreciate her helpful gesture.
Our thanks.

The Hotel Pine Spring is set in a beautiful location in the midst of Pahalgam right opposite a beautiful stream and near the main Pahalgam market road. The hotel garden is well maintained and filled with flowers, my family and i sat there for hours at stretch. The breakfast and dinner buffet offers a variety of food with authentic taste suitable for all age groups. The staff and specially the manager were extremely welcoming and cooperative to all our needs. The housekeeping was prompt and rooms clean. We would love to come and live at Hotel Pine Spring again, absolutely loved the stay!

The Location of the Hotel is still a plus point as it is just near the River, however Services are very Poor, the Rooms which we took were very uncomfortable, we got 2 rooms on top floor on which there was a water Motor which kept running throughout the night making hell lot of sound, just above the roof of one of the rooms! We complained twice but to no help! There is No Lift! Which makes it very difficult for elderly to climb 4 floors, if given a room on the top Floor. The Food is below average! We took Breakfast and Dinner, the Spread was very limited, Breakfast had even lesser options, Kids did not like the dry Poha and very oily bhatura's that they were offering and we requested to make Omlette, to which they refused straight away. Overall not a Happy Stay for the price they charged us, would not Recommend to anyone!
They lack proper/professional management and culture!

With a good expectation i with my famiy landed up in this hotel and got really disappointed. Main reason is the room. We were three and there was not any place to lay the third bed. We need to accommodate in that bed.

But the main problem was the rooms were very random. Unclean linens & towels, worst toiletries, dust all over. Aged rooms. Needs renovation at the earliest, The lobby area was nicely maintained.

Only silver lining was rhe restaurant, Mr. Muzzafar and his team are doing a decent job in F&B division. Good variety & good tasty food in the breakfast and dinner. Like a true host they take care of the customers while eating.

The location of the hotel is very good but the management need to improve the rooms to a great extent.

I will not recommend this hotel for staying if you need a clean and tidy room. But you may opt for having food in this hotel if you are staying nearby.

I stayed there for two nights....just managed somehow. Even after my repeated request for turning on the room heater in the early morning they didn't turn it on.

We had a really disappointing experience at this hotel. It's essential for hotel staff to create a welcoming and secure environment for all guests, regardless of their background or appearance. Felt uncomfortable and unsafe during our stay ,One can really sour the entire experience, especially when you're paying a significant amount for accommodations. It's understandable that you'd expect professionalism and respect from the staff, along with a sense of freedom to move around the premises without feeling scrutinized. Hotel management was aware of the issues we encountered. Constructive feedback can help them improve their services and ensure a better experience for future guests. Additionally, one should share own experience online through reviews or social media can also alert other travelers to potential issues with the hotel's atmosphere and customer service. We never thought our ladies in our group will be stared strangely for them wearing skirts in summer months .I am shocked and surprise when I even saw myself how strange looks were given at our ladies during our stay at hotel Pine Spring In Pahalagam.

In an era where online reviews wield significant influence over our choices, it's disheartening to uncover the deceit that lurks behind the veil of glowing testimonials. My recent experience at this Hotel Pine Spring Pahalgam stands as a testament to the pitfalls of blindly trusting online feedback. What was portrayed as a luxurious haven through fabricated reviews turned out to be a nightmarish ordeal of subpar service and blatant dishonesty. Prior to booking my stay, I meticulously sifted through countless reviews, each painting a picture of unparalleled excellence and hospitality. Excitedly, I arrived at this Hotel only to find that reality bore little resemblance to the utopian facade painted by its online presence. The grandeur promised in the meticulously curated images was nothing but a façade, masking the dilapidated state of the establishment and the lackluster services within. From the moment I stepped foot into the lobby, it became abundantly clear that the supposed "five-star" experience was a farce. The reception staff exuded an air of indifference, displaying a shocking lack of professionalism and competence. Their apathetic demeanor left much to be desired, as they seemed more preoccupied with trivial matters than attending to the needs of guests. As I made my way to my room, anticipation quickly turned to disappointment as I discovered the grim reality of my accommodations. Far from the opulence promised in the online descriptions, the room was drab and unkempt, with furnishings that had seen better days. The amenities touted in the reviews were either nonexistent or in a state of disrepair, further underscoring the blatant deception perpetrated by the hotel.
However, it was not just the physical state of the hotel that left a sour taste in my mouth; it was the abysmal level of service that truly epitomized the depths of incompetence. Requests for basic amenities were met with indifference, and attempts to address concerns were brushed aside with a dismissive attitude. It was evident that the staff lacked the training and motivation necessary to uphold even the most rudimentary standards of hospitality. In hindsight, I now realize that the glowing reviews I once trusted were nothing more than a carefully orchestrated scheme to lure unsuspecting guests into a trap of false promises and disappointment. It is a grave disservice to both the patrons and the reputation of the hospitality industry as a whole when establishments resort to such underhanded tactics. my experience at Hotel Pine Spring in Pahalgam serves as a cautionary tale against placing unwavering faith in online reviews. Behind the veil of fabricated testimonials lies a harsh reality that can only be exposed through firsthand experience. I implore fellow travelers to exercise discernment and scrutiny when choosing this accommodations, lest they fall victim to the same deceit that befell me at Hotel Pine Spring Pahalgam..

While at the outset you be amazed at the beauty and appearance of the hotel...As soon as you check in you will regret it. After check we were provided welcome drink which were horrible to say the least (the staff also knows it). Secondly there is no lift and with parents it is difficult to climb stairs - they do not provide rooms on ground floor on request also and no where it is mentioned before hand that there is no lift.

Rooms are below average. Wifi is there just for name sake. Doesnt work at all. For a hotel charging such huge amount atleast decent wifi can be expected.

They have bonfire in garden area in evening with some overpriced absolutely worst snacks.
During check out no staff helped load luggage into taxi even after multiple requests.
Location of the hotel although near the river but far away from the main market.
Avoid this place !!!

At 26k per night for 2 rooms you expect better! I visited in Jun'22. Rooms are dingy and musky; no lift; no shower curtain in bathrooms; run down..lights fused, pipes sticking out...it needs a major overhaul. The service station of every floor is in the middle of the rooms, making a huge racket in the floor. The food (while pretty decent in taste) is very limited and okay for a 1-2 star hotel.
