We were a large vintage car rally group on an outing and we contacted this establishment at pretty short notice, given our numbers. We met with a reassuring and positive response to our many needs, and were given the most accommodating and friendly welcome on our arrival. The food was both generous and tasty. Staff utterly professional and competent, and...

Unfortunately we agreed to the unusual step of paying for the room before seeing it or experiencing the stay, and thus had no leverage to seek reimbursement due to the lack of hot water. We stayed on St. Patrick's Day, went out hiking that morning - in the rain - and after a pint of Guinness, checked-in, got out of...

The staff IS friendly, the rooms are relatively clean. Mine was a room with 2 box springs on the floor with mattresses on them, so they're low. Other than the beds on the floor, there was not even a chair to sit on. I recently saw The Accountant; Afleck's character goes to a really upscale hotel because cheaper hotels have...

In this small village this is the best place to stay. The staff is really nice en the pub is also nice. The food too. The rooms are kind of basic. The price is a little bit to high. Overall we really liked are stay.

I stayed here for 1 night with some friends during our hiking trip in County Wicklow in December 2016. The room & bathroom were tidy and clean, staff was friendly! Supper and breakfast the morning after were both very good. Do try the apple cider on the menu :) The only shortcoming: the Wi-Fi only works in the dining room,...

After a rewarding walk among the Wicklow hills my family of 7 went into the Coachouse in Roundwood for lunch. Terry the Bar manager and partime Comedian greeted us to a warm fire and friendly service. We were made to feel welcome straight away like long lost Friends and shown to our tables. Our kids and teenagers (4) knocked great...

Had the most beautiful meal here after a long walk in glendalough. Highly recommend eating here if you are in the area the food is delicious. Everything came out really quickly but it was still piping and hot and home made. The staff are also extremely nice and welcoming

We went here on Saturday afternoon on the way to Glendalough. We hadn't tried it before so we didn't know what to expect. The bar/restaurant areas are lovely and cosy and I'd like to try it some evening for drinks as the atmosphere was good too. We both had starters and main courses and our 2 year old ordered from...

Had a lovely meal with friends. The chicken curry is delicious. Friendly, enthusiastic staff. Really enjoyed our meal and felt very welcome. There was no feeling of being rushed to get another group in or anything. The desserts are huge! I would suggest sharing.
