Had the most amazing week here with my family for my dads birthday. We stayed in the private cottage which was a ten second walk from their own pub! The pub food was absolutely stunning alongside the dinner we had in the hotel restaurant. The staff were warm and friendly and a lady called Laura who works in the spa...

We went here for an overnight stay. We had dinner in the package but upgraded to the taster menu with accompanying wine. This was the nicest food I have EVER eaten. The halibut was cooked to perfection. The sauce was one of the most flavoursome I ever tasted. Breakfast is freshly cooked and lovely. I am not a fan of...

We went to Dunbrody for an overnight, dinner bed and breakfast stay as a birthday treat for my wife. We booked a standard double room and were upgraded to a superior room on arrival. Our room was much warmer than we preferred, easily fixed though by turning down the radiator and opening a window. We had a pre-dinner drink in...

Just back from an overnight at Dunbrody with girlfriends. It was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Hotel was very quiet as we opted for a Sunday night stay. We were upgraded to 3 superior rooms and they were just beautiful, full of character and beautiful furnishings and wonderfully decorated. I was in room 210 which we agreed was the...

My husband booked this as a birthday treat for me as I have wanted to go for so long. Our initial impressions were good. Staff very friendly and nice check in with bags brought to your room. Heading to the room small things started to raise our eyebrows, like the main stair case needing a vacumn and the paintwork needing...

My husband and I are just back from spending 3 nights here. It's about 10 years since we last stayed. We can't fault the food, staff, service. They were all great and we were made feel very welcome. It's not a place to go if you're on a diet as the food is amazing. Also, the spa treatment I had...

Gorgeous stay at Dunbrody. Rooms are beautiful and avoid the standard hotel feel and layout. Food was excellent, we had dinner and breakfast in the main dining room. Bar is small in the hotel itself but perfect for a pre dinner drink. Bar on the site a short walk away is a lovely and lively night out with locals singing...

Great atmosphere and very reasonable food availsble there i.e. fush and chips steaks and fire oven pizzas all looked lovely. We opted for dinner in restaurant. We...

To be honest, if I'd read the previous TripAdvisor reviews first I might not have booked here. And I kind of get why some people have been negative. Leaving aside a food experience which is personal and I wouldn't question someone else's opinion on their experience, this is a moderately priced luxury hotel which is always a difficult thing to...
