Myself, my partner and our dog were looking for a spur of the moment place to stay that allowed dogs, we searched google and found this little gem, What a place!! The couple running the b&b (Mike & Julia) are just wonderful, so welcoming and friendly. The house had the most amazing homely feel. It was so comfortable and welcoming...

Calvin the dog had a great stay at this fabulous little place, where he even had his own little patio to roam around and find interesting snacks other canine guests had left behind. We loved the location, lots of great walks. Breakfast at the communal table was very nice. Dinner was fab too. If there is one hotel in Ireland...

My husband, daughter, son-in-law and I stayed here for 3 nights and could not have felt more welcome and royally treated. The setting is breathtaking, and we loved the away-from-it-all feeling. Cute villages and great hiking on the Sheepshead Peninsula and museum in Skibberdeen about the potato famine is fascinating. Wish we could have stayed longer. The B &B breakfasts...

As a very regular reviewer on TA, I don't often find myself struggling for adequate words to start a review but I find myself doing so now. We left Carbery Cottage Guest Lodge this morning having stayed there for 7 nights and we did so with heavy hearts. We had discovered the cottage on a website listing pet friendly accommodation...

We arrived with Aby our dog and our stay with Julia and Mike, from welcome to departure, was an absolute delight. Our room had access to a lovely fenced in patio area where Aby could wander about and she was extremely happy there. Julia provided us with tea and brownies on arrival which were welcome after a long walk on...

Carbery Cottage is a wonderful, tranquil place to enjoy the countryside. Julia and Mike were wonderful hosts, they have the balance of being helpful and friendly just right - they leave you alone to enjoy the place but are around if you've any questions you need local knowledge on. The views of the stars at night are amazing as there's...

Just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay at Carbery Cottage, with our French bulldog, Agatha. Have to say, Mike & Julia were fantastic hosts and made us, and Aggie, feel very welcome. The food was outstanding, particularly breakfast, which came with homemade breads/buns/jams/ etc. The rooms were cozy and clean, and Mike and Julia were great at giving...

Bit of a drive from Durrus but definitely worth the effort. We arrived tired and hungry and somewhat dispirited by the problem of having a small dog with us, who was unwelcome at many establishments. Not so here. Julia and Mike rustled up a lovely dinner with not much notice, polished silver and candles adding to the feeling of care...
